We use Matt's book for everyday dinners and for entertaining. Our guests rave about the dishes we make using these recipes.I would recommend it to anyone who cooks, whether you like cooking or not.

One of my favorite cook books on the shelf. Have made so many wicked good dinners and appetizers thanks to Matt and his wonderful recipes.

Most cookbooks are good for just one or two recipes and are written like a boring pull-out you might read when putting together IKEA furniture. This book is lively and fun with wonderful stories that bring the recipes to life. It also contains so many yummy foods that whenever I am cooking for others, I use this wonderful book as my guide. I have yet to be let down by any of these recipes. A must buy for people who love good "home cooking".

My husband and I bought this book a little before Christmas, and used it to create a bunch of recipes for our families- all to rave reviews! The instructions are easy to follow, the ingredients are available everywhere (a huge plus for me with cookbooks!), and the food is just soooo good! We've got favorites we have already made multiple times, and keep trying out new ones. We've also given a few copies of the book as gifts, and everyone that has received one has enjoyed it as much as we have.

I have had my book now for a few days and I am still salivating over the foods my family has eaten. Excellent descriptions and easy to follow recipes. My favorite part was to read the personal stories from the author at the end of the recipe, it makes a connection and helps me relate to a past story involving food in my life. Great book for all levels!
