SOLVED OUR PROBLEM
Kept getting warning light “water in fuel”. After following a procedure to make sure there was no water and changing the filter, we still got the same message. Next step is changing the module since it obviously is giving a wrong message. Using this part solved the problem.

I was actually shocked.
The shipping was slow, but what showed up was the full filter housing... Then, when I took the lower canister off, there was a brand new filter with the "O" Rings in place. I was shocked, because they are expensive! WAY TO GO, GUYS!!!

Installed it my self in under two hours. Manufacturer will void the warranty. A lot cheaper then paying a contractor three times the price.. I can just buy another if it breaks down. It has been close to two years and still working great!

2019 2500 duramax wif light.
I used this to replace the stock housing in my 19' 2500. The "water in fuel" message kept popping up after I verified there was no water in the system. The part was easier to change than it looked and no more water in fuel message.

Water in fuel warning finally off
Even though there is no water in the fuel your Duramax keeps saying there is. Easy fix, replace sensor. Except you can't, its built into the filter housing. So you have to deal with lines full of diesel ever after draining tank to change the housing. But once done that damn warning is finally gone. GM saves 50 cents and this is your reward.
