Judge Windsor BF36 12 Piece Stainless Steel Steak Knife and Fork Set for 6 People - 25 Year Guarantee

Brought these to replace a set of steak knifes that were getting past their best. Didn't want to spend a fortune (as we don't eat steak that often). At £22 these are great. Six knifes and six forks. Polished stainless steel. Dishwasher safe (but as with a lot of [cheaper] cutlery, it recommends removing at end of cycle and hand drying - pretty typical/not unusual as cheaper items are made of a lower grade/quality st/st - if you want the best, you'll pay several times the price). They feel good to use, well balanced, and cut well. Obviously, whether the design is to eveyones taste is a personal choice - I like them. I will say that my previous steak knifes have had either wooden or synthetic handles, and they have looked a bit used/shabby after a while - these being all stainless should look good for a long time. Cannot comment (yet) on how long they will last, but expect to get several years use before they need replacing. These are better quality than sets I'd looked at in supermarkets etc. for similar price. Ideal wedding gift. Recommended.

I liked these so much I have bought two sets, the knives are serrated and sharp so are fit for purpose. I will probably get some as a present for my daughter too. They look nice are dishwasher proof and so far have been durable enough to not end up all scratched. Also I feel that compared to other cutlery are a very good price they look just as good on the table as more expensive sets. They are plain and the finish is polished and look Ok alongside my brushed finish Viners Chelsea which is discontinued. I bought them to replace a wood type handled set that ended up looking a bit tatty, so wanted something that would remain looking good And I feel these will do so.

Nice little steak set, I was a little sceptical at first as when they arrived they weren't packaged securely and the box was open (as this is a sharp object I was a little surprised at this), but they are as described by others, good at cutting any meat with ease, they look nice and fairly comfortable to use (we have large and petite sized hands in our house), they have been washed in the dishwasher on a regular basis and are still looking/working great, so all in all, I would say its not the cheapest set you can buy but they are nice- and do exactly what it says on the tin! I would recommend the set! Thanks

This a good set and the knives cut well. I am fed up with dinner knives that can't cut butter so got these and they do the job. My only complaint is the forks are not strong. They are OK but I could easily bend them. Now a good fork should be stronger I think. But treated well they will last for years I guess.

Arrived safe and sound, well packaged. Very smart and stylish. The knives are of a good weight, sharp and cut very nicely with little effort - perfect! The forks are of a lighter weight but this is fine as they also make excellent pastry/dessert forks! (bonus). I am very pleased with this purchase and highly recommend them to anyone who has been disappointed with the lifespan of the wooden handled versions. I expect this set to last for many years.
