I generally don't write reviews; but I felt compelled to share my experience with other Amazon buyers. This brace was exactly what I was looking for. I am a small framed woman and what I love most about it, is that there are two tabs on each side to adjust to your fit. It is made very well and does exactly what it was made to do; give me the support that I need. I highly recommend it!

I am 5’6 145lbs and wear a size 8 pant/ medium top. This back support is awesome! The double wrap velcro allows me to easily adjust. I needed to get a wrap to help with my posture along with my occasional pains from bending over all day. The moment I put the wrap on I felt instant spine relief. I automatically sit taller and bend at the hips. (Because it has flexible stablizers it is NOT uncomfortable to sit. BIG BONUS for needing to sit a lot through the day.)My only complaint would be the strong smell when I opened the package. Think brand new tires... spare?? Perhaps they are trying to say something? ;) I want to wear my wrap, but I need to air it out before keeping it on. Greatful that it came with an instruction/how to wash card.This is a 5 Star item! Sadly the smell knocked off one star.

I have back pain from a car accident a few years ago and the compression from me wersring this brace for the last week has been really helpful. As long as I wear it a few hours a day, it helps me.I wear it to work most days and take it off when I get home.The fact that it doubles as a waist trainer is a bonus.Don't make it super tight and it still will help you if it's not super tight.I got reflux when I wore it more snug and I like to eat.

Great quality. The belt can be easily adjusted and fit any size. I use it while lifting weight in the gym. I prefer soft belt rather then firm, because I can control the pressure on my back and muscles. After I started to use this belt my lower back paint almost gone away and I see dramatic improvement in my exercise technic, so Im sure it will work great to prevent injuries in gym and will help to relieve lower back pain. Please note that it will get hot underneath the belt, because of the material act almost like "sauna". So after taking this of during hot day you could get a huge sweat circle around your stomach and back if you wear it on the top of your shirt. Not a problem for me, but I guess it could be a problem for somebody

When i first bought the brace i thought it was the best thing ever. That did not last long as in less than three weeks the velcro fasteners no longer stay in place When belted. I can honestly say that i have probably worn the belt maybe 10 times if so much.UpdateAfter my initial post the company reached out to me and replaced the item. I thought That was pretty decent of them and really appreciated the effort. Very good customer service. I am wearing the new belt and so far no issues. I was not paid for the update.

To correct my original half star review i would have to blame myself and not the " cheap velcro " for the fastening problem . My 94 year old mother , the user of this back brace and who is as big as a bird , told me the velcro would no longer hold . Upon further inspection it was discovered that she was not fastening it correctly , the velcro was not the issue . Now that it is being used properly all is well and would recomend this brace as a good buy . Sorry for the original negative review .

Well made, pretty breathable. I like the design that you can put the brace on, like a belt with the main fastener, then cinch it in with the side bands for more support.

I travelled to Europe with this in tow. It is a great brace when you are lifting heavy suitcases and it doubles as a girdle with thicker clothing. It folds up easily. You can wear it under or over clothing. If you have a bad back and a fat stomach you get a twofer - a tummy "trainer" and a back brace.
