Q: What type of cable do I need to use to connect front speakers? The speakers im using have a banana cable port.

The connecters on the back for the front speakers are designed to grip cable that has been stripped at the end and you insert the wire at the bottom through the hole and screw it to grip the bare wire. They are the red and black speaker conncters on the back. Hope this helps!

Q: Can it tune to DAB radio?

No, it has FM & AM tuners but no DAB. Hope this helps

Q: can i use ordinary speakers

Most likely. This unit is very different to most decent amps on the market in that the rest usually can only be used to power 8ohm speakers. If you tried to use 4ohm speakers (which is what most standard basic home theatres come with), it would eventually overload and trash this unit. However, there’s a setting you can change in the menu of this amp (connect to a TV via HDMI to see the options) to select either 4 ohm, or 6ohm (and above to 16ohm speakers). Look on the back of your “ordinary” speakers and see what ohm they are, and adjust the unit accordingly before playing anything through it.
