This was one of my favorite books as a child. I was sad to discover it was no longer in publication. After doing some research I am happy to say my copy arrived as described (gently used). I now have a copy to give to my kids since my copy hadn't survived my childhood.

This was recommended by a friend, but I'm not thrilled with it. The book was in great shape and offered at a wonderful price, so nothing against the seller.

One of my all-time favorite books. I've bought 15 copies of this book to give as gifts when it first came out - gave the last one away not too long ago as I saved them for special people. Pictures are beautiful, story is heartwarming, and the poetry delightful! It is out of print and I think it would sell really well if it was reissued today. If I had a direct line to Bette Midler, I would tell her so!!

When I notified Amazon of how thuroughly damaged the book was (upon arrival) they refunded my cost and told me to keep the book. Now I will do my best to glue it back together.I love this book! I am sure I will buy another copy soon.

My 30 year old daughter has loved this book since she was 1.. she has a daughter and wanted one for her.

M’y childhood book.

Book has arrived, all pages aren’t even attached to the main book cover the are separate!! All the glue is dried up & coming off the pages so all pages are loose falling out! Was described as “Like New” it’s used & falling to pieces! Was meant to be used for a Christmas present but I can’t do that now, it looks a mess! Extremely unhappy!!

Excellent book

Was expecting this to be very much a kids book. It does have the rhyming cadence, but this is not a few words/sentences a page kind of kids story book. I was able to enjoy and get something out of it as an adult, and enjoyed the beautiful graphics. Fun and meaningful read for any age.
