My husband and I love our watches, but age has taken a toll on some of our ability to keep up with winding our watches, and we've had them completely stop several times on us. Enter this watch winder. This beautiful machine not only looks lovely on our countertop, but it provides a service that was becoming increasingly difficult for us to complete.The winder is significantly heavy; however, it is not a very large winder, and does not take up much counter space. It does stand a bit taller than a typical watch case does.One benefit to this winder is that it does not make much noise. It's more of a gentle hum, and not disruptive. It is not completely silent, but it is a motor doing a job and that is audible.The only part of this case that I am not particularly fond of is the lock. The key is loose in the lock and it feels like it's more of an afterthought, not very secure. It's wobbly and just doesn't function all that well.As far as the overall construction goes, it's secure. There are no cracks in the corners; they match up well. When closed, the top aligns perfectly with the bottom and there are no overhanging edges. The interior is practical and soft, and will not damage the watches. Two watches can be wound at a time and there is storage for two additional watches.I feel this would make a nice gift for any watch aficionado in your life.

It does have it's good qualities, and I'll highlight them below. But if you have some heavy hitters in your collection, this product is not going to do much for your watch game.The quality is just not here. Roughly applied screws, noticeable glued edges of the materials, a little bit of play when trying to open the locked lid. Even the blue LED light looks like a tacky afterthought. Placing finely crafted timepieces in this case doesn't seem appropriate.Don't get me wrong, it should wind your automatic watches just fine. There are a few settings - clockwise, counter-clockwise, or both every twenty minutes. The outside carbon-fiber looking finish is acceptable and doesn't look too bad when closed. It does lock if you fumble around with the key for a few moments.But at this price range it becomes really difficult to spot the value here. The asking price for this product places it in competition with some nice winders. And this China box is not going to hold up well to the competition. I'm disappointed mostly, and cannot give this a strong recommendation. For a quarter of the price, the value might start showing up.

This watch winder is great because:1. Works well, with two different size watch pads for different size watches.2. Watch keeps very good time with the use of this product.3. The item is beautiful, very elegant.If you have a self winding watch, especially if it has a date, then you won’t use the watch because re-setting it every time is not worth the trouble. Having this self -winder, changes a never used watch, to a wrist watch that you can enjoy when desired.The case gives the watches sort of glistening appearance, like seen in a jewelry store which I like.There is also a really nice and upscale subtle blue LED light inside the case that can be turned on or off. The interior finish is a beautiful black velvet.The item is very quiet, which is another advantage. I have another watch winder which is less expensive that is noisier and the watches don't seem to keep as accurate of time despite being rotated/wound by it.

This watch winder does work well. However, my hang-up, and the reason for the 3 star review, was the quality of the components when weighed against the asking price. The metal hinges and locks seem to be of lower quality, as do the cord, plug, and the lining. Even the packaging seemed of the absolute cheapest variety; everything just feels cheap.The winder does have several settings to wind clockwise, counterclockwise, or a combination, and as mentioned, it does work well. I do have concerns for the longevity of the mechanism, but this is only because I do not expect the inner components to be of a higher quality than those on the outside.

I got this for an admitted carbon fiber addiction. I love anything carbon fiber. As soon as they start making carbon fiber houses? I'm moving.Imagine my sadness when something that says "Carbon Fiber Casing" in the description has a faux carbon fiber-looking finish.It's very nice looking, honestly, and the key/lock even works surprisingly well. You open it up to where you can see the motor and electronics, and it's pretty plainly constructed on the inside, nothing special or outstanding. Just the basics as far as the motor, electronics, and internal construction go.I would say, not worth the cost. I do like it, and like the look of it, but...probably worth 1/2 what they're asking.

any collector would be pleased with this storage box. the rotators are quiet, the storage capacity is adequate. up to 4 pieces can be held, at once. it's pretty heavy and very sturdy.

Very elegant & classy way to organize and display your automatic watches. I have bought cheaper wonders in the past, and they don’t last and don’t offer the same level of luxury.
