I'm a Happy Hugglewug: Laugh and Play the Hugglewug Way Board book – December 23, 2008

My 2 1/2 year old son LOVES Henry Hugglemonster and since this was the only Hugglemonster (well, Hugglewug) product we could find, we got it for him. It seems that the show is based directly off of the book with a few variations (Hugglewugs changed to Hugglemonster, sisters named changed from Lola to Summer). When we read the book we use the names he is familiar with from the show. The book itself is really cute and arrived in great condition. It has a lot of content for a board book but can be used as a quick read or you can get more in depth and do the activities on each page if your child has a longer attention span. The story goes through a day in the life of a Hugglewug from breakfast through bedtime and includes different activities on some pages like counting or a look-and-find. It starts and ends with a cute little song- I wish I knew the tune to it, but I just make one up! Overall, this is a cute little book whether you have a Hugglemonster fan or not!

We are Huggle fans for sure! Love this book! My son carries it all over the house and asks me to read it to him. I believe this book was written before the Disney show, so some of the character likenesses and names are different: Henry has a loooooong tongue, Summer is called Lola, their dog Beckett isn't pictured on the pets page, and instead of using Hugglemonster they say Hugglewug. We just use the names and words they use in the show when reading the book...no real biggie. The drawings are adorable. My son is not ready for floppy paged Hugglemonster books, so this board book option was perfect. I keep on hoping they will come out with a few more board books styled after the current show; are you listening Disney? Wink, wink...

This was a hit with my 4-year-old grandson and I am glad I got it for him. He is just as happy as Henry and has enjoyed it just as much. You will be glad you purchased it, if your child or grandchild is a fan of Henry's! Henry and his family are not bad monsters and that is one of the things that makes this so special! You generally expect your children to be afraid of monsters but these monsters are endearing! It has been well worth the purchase and I will buy him other Henry Hugglewug books!

My husband and I got this book because my daughter loves Henry Huggle monster and is all we can find but the book really doesn't have a point and some of the characters names aren't the same as they are on the show! And until the toys come out for the Henry Huggle monster this will do okay!

The graphics are great. The book has hard pages so it is really durable. It is fun and a little educational.The book changes the names from hugglemonster to hugglewug and the sisters name is changed.otherwise it is fun. If your kid likes the show they will love the book.

My three year old son has recently discovered the show "Henry Hugglemonster" on Disney Jr, and in doing a little research as to when to expect toys based on the show to arrive, discovered this book. It has been a hit so far and now in addition to getting asked 35 times a day to watch Henry Hugglemonster, I also get asked 35 times a day to read the book (which the show is either based on, or flat out stolen from)

My son loves Henry Hugglemonster from Disney and he was so excited to read this book! My only down fall was I didn't realize it was shipping from outside the country. It took forever to get.

My daughter LOVES Henry Hugglemonster and we looked and looked for any merchandise to get her, but there is none. This is the book the series is based on. She was so excited to get it. When I read it to her I need to change the lames a little. If I say Lola she freaks out and says no that's Summer.

This is the original book by Niamah Sharkey, the author/illustrator who created the Henry character and all his family. Disney bought the rights off her and she is one of the creative producer types on the cartoon.The book is called something a little different and has less characters as the cartoon as Disney changed it and added characters for the tv show.If your little one likes the Henry then they wont be dissapointed. The illustrations are as charming and vivid as the show and are very true to the lovely feeling the tv show has. Ok, older childern might be a tad disengaged after a while as it has no solid story as such but toddlers will love it.:)

My Son loves this book but ripped the last one to shreds reading it too many times. This replacement has been warmly received and happiness restored! Thanks

Bought this as a present for a friends little boys Christening as his nickname is Henry Hugglemonster. Hopefully they will enjoy reading it to him.

Brought this for my granddaughter to go with the new tv series the pictures are amazing, bright and colourful long live Henry Hugglemonster & his family
