Our company has 25-30 employees who punch in/out at various times throughout the day. Keeping track of everybody became quite difficult so we switched from manual punch cards to wireless punching with U-Attend. U-Attend set up was very easy/fast, and they also had a very user friendly interface, but you pay monthly and we were having issues with our clocking staying connected to the internet. Without being connected, nobody can punch in/out, so I was constantly chasing down employees for hours which caused more work than the original time cards. We looked for a solution and found FingerTec. The interface isn't as user friendly, but once everything is set up it works VERY smoothly. You can add many variations to the clocking schedules and really setup the system to work around your company. The initial setup is a bit complicated, but the offer amazing support which can take over your computer within their software. Always great so call in and immediately speak with support within the US. Also, unlike uattend, NO MONTHLY FEES! :)

Was not user friendly

it has been months and it is still not set up. Gems from customer service like "wifi and lan have to be on different subnets otherwise wifi won't work". They charge a 100$ markup for wifi and there is _nothing_ in the manuals.When using keypad to enter name it inputs numbers instead of names. If you want to input wifi password terminal wont let you see what you typed. When clocking in or out it wont tell you whether it was in or out, or time. Nothing.Considering the price this is not good at all. You could buy a laptop and install a usb print reader and have money to spare for this much money.

This timeclock is expensive. It functionally does what it should, but the initial setup and interface lacks a bit to be desired. I think from a pure functional point of view it does what you need it to, but the software interface and the tactile interface with the device is clunky. I think the main difference in this piece and more expensive models of similar feature sets is probably found in a more intuitive user interface. I am satisfied with the purchase but this device is definitely NOT for someone who lacks technical abilities. I think this thing has potential for excellence, but the user experience would have to be improved.

We replaced our old ETC manual time clock with TA200PLUSW. Wireless and finger functions works great, they also have option for pass code entry if you choose to use that, many user friendly helpful reports are available. Customer service is A+, they are always there to help and answer any questions you may have. I strongly recommend this reasonably priced time clock to any business.

This Item did not have the most important feature. (The Wireless feature). After spending 20 minutes with fingertech (which is a great company who has great service) trying to figure out why it wouldn't connect they found out the item isn't wireless. Do not buy this item from "Biometrics And Beyond" if you want a wireless time clock system. I tired to contact them to exchange but no phone number to call... typical.

Good machine, I had just purchased this machine a upgrade to our old one. This machine is very simple to use. Had a hard time setting it up, so I called Tech Support and the got me working in less than 10 minutes. Tech support is very helpful and makes this machine that much more worth the money invested.

Works better then our first one (TA100C). We should have gone WiFi from the get go. We are using both together.
