Tortoise habitat
I had to sift the soil so that the large contents of mulch was not included in the habitat. I thought this would be nice clean soil only.

Not soil, left over garbage mulch
I was changing some sprinklers on my parents lawn. The new sprinklers are smaller so I needed some SOIL, aka dirt, to fill in the holes around the new sprinklers. Stopped by home depot and bought 3 bags of this garbage for $10.00. This is absolutely not SOIL of any kind, even though it says "topsoil". It's mulch, and left over mulch at that. It's like Earthgro cleaned out their mulcher machines for their expensive high quality mulch and just bagged the leftovers and sold it as is, falsely calling it "topsoil." The bag claims it's great for filling in holes but it's not. The MULCH is wood sticks and shavings, large ones at that. They don't pack down and fill anything. On top of that since it's wood it floats when enough water collects around the sprinkler. If you wanted to increase the volume of some dirt you are working with as you spread it out and you wanted to do it cheap than you could mix this in and it would work. However, it's absolutely not and does not do what the bag claims. I decided to review it here because Home Depot doesn't even have this specific bag on their site to review. It's like they found out how garbage this product is and took it off so they could get rid of the rest of it by not letting the customer know what they are buying. I doubt I'll ever trust Earthgro with another product again.
