Great story
As usual the kids teach themselves with life lessons and suffering. Love does provide some surprises along the way. Again a good wrap up.

people aren't always who they seem to be
Young Wisty is in love for the first time. Her brother and others don't like this new love of hers but they can't exactly say why so she thinks they are jealous. She should have listened, but when do folks falling in love ever listen? At the same time their new government is beginning to look suspiciously like their old one. Those with power are being forced to register and magic is being banned. People with powers are being rounded up and sent to camps. Children are disapearing. There's talk of war with the mountain king when the water starts drying up.This was an especially enjoyable read for me. I love the characters and the story lines. James Patterson is an exceptional writer in his ability to draw the reader into the world he creates. I found myself rooting for the heros and heroines and even feeling sympathy for some of the villains. My only complaint is that the book didn;t last long enough. More! More!

"ANOTHER COMPELLING ADVENTURE IN THIS EPIC SERIES!"
James Patterson and Jill Dembowski, deliver another exciting story as this saga continues. Whit and Wisty have extraordinary capabilities, and finally defeat the cruel dictator, but other problems exist as more challenges must be met. All odds seem to be against a brother, and a sister as Heath captures Wisty's heart. The powerful Wizard King threatens war, magic is tested, and Wisty must make a complicated decision. A war is brewing, danger spreads like wild-fire, and a beautiful world once fought for could become a nightmare. Can Wisty trust Heath, and will their world be destroyed? The intriguing story grabs your attention in the very beginning, the mystical setting is picture-perfect, and the colorful characters come to life. Young adults will enjoy this installment as well as adults, and love this epic dystopian series as they crave for more. Will their world be saved? Magical, enjoyable, and entertaining. Highly recommended!

Another good book by Patterson!
My husband and I were spending a month visiting our grandsons this summer, and they owned the first three books in this "Witch & Wizard" series. One grandson needs a little encouragement to read and earn AR credits in school, so we challenged him to read these books with us... and then I purchased the 4th. Must admit, I was getting a little tired of the series, but our grandson finished all four before we did :-). I thought a few scenes were a little advanced for an 11 year old, but overall, they were good stories that kept his attention. These books have very short chapters, so kids read much easier and tend to keep going!

Fantastic Author
My teenage son has thoroughly enjoyed James Patterson's books; after reading his maximum ride series (which he loved) he tried out this series and also enjoyed it. I just wish he would write some more books for teenagers as he is a brilliant writer.

Disappointing
As an avid reader of this series of books i was thrilled to see this release... However, i soon was very disappointed. The book dragged on to what ended up being a very weak ending in a very short amount of time.

A great story to continue the series
A compelling story of first love, jealousy and deception. The Allgoods find that power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. It is as important to win the peace as it is to win the war.
