I was fed up with paying out for expensive wellies that split after after a few months and I need good boots to walk the dog. These boots are really good. They are comfortable and waterproof so far, I have trekked through some very wet fields and my feet have stayed dry. Have invested in some dubbin and waterproofing stuff, hoping if I look after them they will last some time! I am a size 5, I bought a size 5 and the fit is fine, there is room for a thick pair of socks. I have slim calves and the regular fit is quite generous on the leg - they are easy to pull on and off. The laces at the top of the boots don't seem to be adjustable - more for decoration. The only thing I could say against them is they could be a couple of inches taller, then they would be perfect 😊

These are comfy straight away. Look smart and already tested them in snow and rain and feet stayed dry and warm. Very happy with them. Wanted a cheaper alternative to Dubarrys and I’m not disappointed.

Although advertised for horse riding - these boots are fashionable to wear anywhere outdoors - comfortable, warm and weatherproof. Great for walking and gardening!The slight difficulty was getting them on and off as they're a little tight on the heel when inserting foot! Also, the sizes were smaller than expected - had to replace for a larger size (7 to 8) before they felt comfortable to wear with socks.Otherwise great boots that are stylish and well made in every way.Highly recommended!

These were recommended to me by the instructor at my dog agility school, who swore by hers for dog walking in all weather. Neither of us could afford the infinitely more expensive Du Barry boots, and she found these to be just as good. Talking with my friends who enjoyed horse riding, these also came highly recommended, so I took the plunge.I have narrow feet and slightly wider than usual calves, so finding these boots, which accommodated that, was such a relief. There's a handy calf measurement guide on the Dublin website, which I recommend you consult to ensure you get the right fit. I was surprised to find my calves were classed as extra wide by Dublin. Maybe horse riders just have slimmer legs the dog walkers? However, it still took me two goes to get the right foot size. I'm normally a 7. In every other brand of footwear I own, I'm a 7. I ordered a 7 in these, and they came up small. Not massively small, and I could just about have worn regular cotton socks with them, but my toes were touching the ends, so thicker socks would have been a no go. I sold them on, and ordered a size 8, which was a much better fit, and meant I could wear my thicker socks with them.These are solid boots, particularly in the heel area, so be prepared to spend some time breaking them in if you're prone to blisters. The back cup goes quite a way up from the heel, higher than other shoes, and because of this larger rigid area, I suffered quite badly while breaking them in, in the area just above ankle height on the back of my feet. Not somewhere you'd conventionally get rubbed by new footwear. I am now devoting time in the evenings to softening the leather and trying to aid the breaking in process by manually softening it. It's not very graceful, and involves massaging the heel area of the boots until the leather "gives" a little. I've also got a pair of silicone heel socks which protect the back of my feet, and that's made breaking them in a lot speedier.Comfort wise, they're really good. Once I found a way to deal with the rubbing on my heel, they became very comfortable. However, my feet get very hot in these. There is no ventilation, so expect your feet to sweat. I wore silicone heel protectors with these to help me break them in, and they were definitely damp when I got home after my first walk in them. I don't normally get sweaty feet, so it was a bit of a first for me! Other than that, I could happily wear them for hours.The quality of these is good. It's not the best, but it's good. We're not talking about custom made shoes, after all. On mine, even before I started softening the leather around the heel, I could see the leather around the heel was not attached especially well to the sole. I'm hoping it's just a cosmetic thing, and not something which affects their waterproof abilities. I have yet to wear them in really testing conditions. I will obviously come back and update if there is a problem. If there is a problem, I have at least got the reassurance of the Amazon customer service team to help me out.Overall, a great looking pair of boots, which I hope will last me long enough to justify the expensive outlay. They certainly look like they will.

Great fit , comfortable yard boots for the price . Use these daily to dog walk and for use at the yard . This is my second pair of these boots and have also bought and recommended for others . Will buy again .

My wife really loved these boots - look great and really comfortable, even on longer walks. The issue is that they are not hard wearing at all. After only 18 months' use (less given they were only used in Autumn/Winter), even with regular maintenance with the recommended waterproofing wax, they have split and leak, making them unusable most of the year.While customer service have been very helpful and friendly, their supplier stated that this is to be expected for a boot of this age. Given their cost, that's a lot of money per walk!!!Really disappointed, as they are good in so many ways...just not for keeping your feet dry for more than a few months!

I am a UK size 5 and ordered as such (never been another size in any other shoe).Boots came, looked nice tried them on way too big, added an extra pair of socks but still way to big width and length.Shame as felt like they would be a very comfortable shoe if they had fit properly but can't tell for sure. Need them soon so returned and will buy elsewhere as worried the 4 won't fit.

We aware that this company allows returns, but what they don't tell you is that it's at your cost.

This is my 2nd pair. My first pair finally had to be retired after wearing for 6 years. I use these boots for work around the farm and clean them up and wear them just because I want too. The more worn they become, the better their appearance is

I freaking love these boots. My dog is in hunting training and I needed boots to walk through brush and not get beat up by sticks and such. I wanted something that would be comfortable and breathable as well. These are perfect!

These boots are comfortable and very well made. I purchased the dark brown. The actual color is MUCH darker than the image online as well as on the box as shown in my images. I will keep them because I like the darker color as well.
