Olympus Pearlcorder Microcassette Recorder (S711)

Unit came well wrapped and in good condition. The seller stated very good condition, but I found two minor edge abrasions on the case. The sound isn't very good, but then again the purpose of having the recoder was to listen to a few old tapes from 14 years ago. Could be the tapes, but it could also be the tape heads. The unit is used so this would be expected. I would say it works fine with no issues so far.Considering you can't find these antiquated recoders new without paying a hefty price, this is well worth the investment. Simply keep in mind, if you are looking for a quality recoder to take notes in class room I'd go with one of the new digital units that are just a bit more money. This serves its purpose for me.
