The Garden Source: Inspirational Design Ideas for Gardens and Landscapes

I've got some ideas from the book and haven't really from cover to cover but have returned to the book a few times on a number of occasions.

OK but nowadays would probably be replaced by pinterest.

Just got this yesterday (and quickly I might add). A quick perusal already has my head spinning with ideas. I'm a budget-driven DIY'er and find a lot of the beautiful garden design elements I saw could easily be adapted to my one-woman garden show.

This book is filled with really nice photos of both traditional and contemporary garden design ideas, which really get me thinking outside the box for my own garden. It provides great inspiration.

Simply a brilliantly composed book that gets your dreams for a special garden into overdrive. One of the best books I have read, the subjects and photography are also fantastic!

It is a very intressting book with many wonderful photos intressting informationsabout plants and inspirations for my own garden .

Fabulous book, about to do garden project over summer and wanted all round advice how to plane do paths, style etc.. I actually went in a book shop first looking for a good book spotted this and then looked for used version. It is as others describe a fabulous book, filled with lots and lots of images and advice on how to achieve many different types of looks. Cant put it down has given me son many ideas and definately lots of ideas i like.Would recommend.

This is an excellent source of inspiration for anyone wishing to re-design their garden. It is a book of pictures, with a brief introduction and just a little blurb about each image. The images are collected in groups by either style or function e.g. lawns, steps, avenues, screens, pools, rural, urban, contemporary, and so act as a great jumping-off points for ideas for the garden. For me, this book delivers on its name – a sourcebook of ideas.

An interesting source book, just as the title reads. A book which helps to visualise and indeed help both you and your landscaper

Good purchase. Plenty of interesting pictures to help inspire my own designs. Well written with great information throughout.
