The legit filter for projects!
I love the look of this, it gives the nostalgic feel to your footage. Definitely recommend, I normally wouldn't buy it from a different party but this was legit and came with the case and everything.

Softens skin, adds light bloom to highlights. PRO MIST, NOT SAME AS BLACK PRO MIST
Got this to bloom highlights, aka a halation filter. I don't think the BPM does this as well. And it's different from the diffusion effect in software. Can't beat the in camera effect!

Old School Diffusion
This is my favorite diffusion filter. This regular pro mist 1/4 grade is just subtle enough to bloom the highlights in the image and produce a crisp vintage look. 1/2 starts to look like 80's prom portraits, and heavier grades like 1-3 create a thick, foggy, fantasy look. Unlike the black pro mists, the regular pro mists do not lift the blacks; they are not low contrast filters. Use this filter if you want your images to have a natural looking glow without seeming foggy or losing focus.

It really works, but sometimes only subtly
The Pro Mist 1/4" filter takes the hard and sharpened edges in your video or photo and makes it oh so slightly dreamy. From what I understand it is not as intense as the Black Pro Mist sister filter. Anyways, the Pro Mist 1/4" filter beautifully blooms light sources, and gives subjects a cinematographic feel.

Awesome!
Creamy footage, the 1/4 Pro Mist makes my BMPCC look like a mini Alexa, couldn't recommend this more!!!

The movie standard!
One of the first of the modern diffusion filters, developed in the 80s I think. The lower strengths like this one are beautiful. They get too 'foggy' for my taste at #1 and higher.

Not a black pro-mist
Bought the wrong filter meant to buy a black pro-mist but it gets the job done for now

Subtle
Really lovely, but the effect is subtle. Maybe go for the stronger versions if you want a more obvious effect. But perfect for very subtly smoothing skin and softening highlights

77mm 1/4 - Overall, I'm happy with my purchase.
I would submit pictures, but they don't really prove anything. I haven't done anything other than test photos, and photos of the case.I can't verify whether I got a used filter or not, all though it seems likely. The case it came in wasn't sealed. The filter appeared to be used, due to dust particles on the surface, however that could possibly be caused due to the case not being sealed. As far as quality goes, there was no damage on the glass itself (as far as scratches etc), but does appear to have been used prior to me getting it. The case was really scratched up, but the condition of the case doesn't really impede on my interests, nor does it really prove anything. The following is in no way meant to be critique about the abilities of the filter, or the condition of the one I got. More so my first experience with it.What I first noticed was (this is more than likely due to me, or conditions, not the filter) that I don't appear to get as much halo around light as others have gotten, I'm using an 85mm prime, 1.4. And I'm shooting at 1.4. I haven't really gotten to take any serious photos yet, so I can't say anything concrete about the effect, but I like what I'm seeing so far. It wasn't the dream gallore I was hoping for, but perhaps a happy medium. The conditions I tried it in as of writing this, was harsh sunlight, and a dark room with LED light in various colors.
