Oak Island Obsession: The Restall Story

I am glad I ordered this book. An amazing true story. Very much for a lover of adventure and mystery. Highly recommend. Also nothing like holding a real paper book in your hand!

Enjoyed the story. A must read for Oak Island enthusiasts.

Good read. Interesting background to a story that has gained a huge following of late. You'll come away with perspectives from several Restall family members. If you are looking for Oak Island history and technical details, this is not for you. I lean that direction but I still found the book to be engaging and interesting. If you got price gouged when this was out of stock everywhere I imagine you would be very disappointed. Its certainly worth the $20-25 price.

A story of a family that have given their lives to the quest of Oak Island. I believe that sometimes we get so caught up in the conquest that we forget the real things that are important. I do have respect for the Restall Family and hope that the treasure will be found soon or at least the mystery will be solved. The lives lost were not in vain.

Lee Lamb put such a personal perspective to this story . I came away with a Great appreciation for the Restall family's journey. As a huge Oak Island fan this by far is my favorite book.

I've been a huge fan of the Oak Island mystery and Lee Lamb's recounting of the trials and hardships her family went through in their search for the treasure was full of detailed documents and wonderful anecdotes. From their start as circus motorcycle daredevils, through the years of battling the elements and the booby-trapped flood tunnels to their tragic end, she keeps you pulled in to the story of how the Restall family pulled together to support each other in their mutual desire to solve the mystery - once and for all.

After reading four other books on Oak Island it was interesting to hear the Restall family's version from personal experiences, daily logs and letters. Such a tragic loss of life and a wealth of information.

Wonderful storytelling and great historical information about Oak Island. You can read this to learn about the history and mystery, or just to be entertained.Would absolutely recommend to anyone. If you only read one book about Oak Island, read this one.

My husband and I are hooked to the TV program. This book gives lots of back story. Well worth reading. I just wonder if we'll both be dead before anything is found!! lol
