Helly-Hansen51598 Men's Daybreaker Fleece Jacket

I had been searching all over for a light polar fleece jacket to wear under my winter coat which also had inside pockets. Well this one has inside net pockets which function perfectly for what I need. Just to mention, the jacket is cut slightly thin but not too much. Order the proper size and don’t expect it to be baggy. Overall I really like it.

The jacket is a nice fit and very comfortable. Excellent price.

The lightest and softest fleece I’ve ever owned! The only issues is that the sleeves are too long. Otherwise it’s great!

I only hope this jacket works out as well as my former one. I'm a boater and I wore my HH during a horrific windstorm -- in fact, the Storm of the Century -- on Lake Superior. (See my website [...]). Without the superb workmanship, the quality of the fabrics, and the rightness of the design, I might not have survived. By the way, the former HH jacket I still own and wear.

love the jacket, fleece is thin though so when the temps get pretty chilly, prepare to add another layer. Good quality as expected from helly though.

The quality of this product is adequate, but nothing special. It’s a light fleece with mediocre stitching. You hear the stitching stretch every time taking this jacket off. It’s also sized small, so buy a size up: I’m 5’10” and 187 lbs with a 43” Chest and I needed a size XL. What is really strange about this fleece is that the zipper pull is on the opposite side (like women’s clothing). The interior of the side pockets is mesh, so anything in there rattles around. And one feature this jacket is lacking is a zippered exterior breast pocket. There are better jackets out there for roughly the same price.
