This spectacular Green Opal rough comes from a full mine run that was purchased directly from the Green Opal mine in Madagascar. Once it arrives at our warehouse in the USA this beautiful Green Opal is checked for quality to ensure only material that meets Polones e Brilho's quality standards is sent with every order. The sizes of the Green Opal you receive will average around 20 to 40 mm for most of the stones. This material can be used for tumbling, polishing, wire wrapping, crafts, fountain rocks, and any other application limited only by your imagination. You are ordering 450 grams of this rough Green Opal which in most cases is around 12-18 pieces but since it is sold by total weight the exact number of pieces you receive may vary from one bag to the next. You are receiving it exactly as it was mined in the rough so it is possible that some pieces are going to have a thin layer of dust on them and we recommend rinsing off the stones once they are received. Our pictures were taken with the stones having been rinsed and they were taken while the stones were still wet. The stones you are ordering is the PeB Brand with the manufacturer's part number of PEB-GO-1.

I Got a Rock!
The ad said I would get a bags of rocks.I did! A nice size bag full of good specimen rough stones. The breaks were clean and they display well, and I guess could be good candidates for polishing. There are no saw marks or un-natural aspects.Recommended.

Mine are like photo.
I bought my green opal rough back in mid 2018. I finally got a 3lb capacity tumbler so I can finally get them tumbled. A few of them I am going to attempt to slice, polish and make cabs with them. Mine are a rich almost olive green color and pieces are pretty big. Great for wire wrapping.🐣

They are not green opals. It's jasper
The rocks are nice, but they are not green opals. It's jasper.

Brilliant colors but really brittle
These stones have amazing coloration, but they are really brittle. Unless your tumbler has a slow mode setting, you'll find that your stones will break apart rather easily and create pebbles.
