Bosch640565 Premium Refrigerator Water & Ice Filter, 1-Pack

It got here fast.

Good product at a much better price than the appliance store. Unfortunately, my water dispenser gave out shortly after installation. The good thing is, though, that the icemaker works and it will last longer not dispensing drinking water through it.

The filter works just as it should. Strangely the Bosch refrigerator manual says to replace it annually, the filter instructions say 250 gallons, which must be a typo! They probably meant 2500 gallons? We'll see if the change filter light comes up on at the right time.

I bought this filter because it was cheaper and got good reviews. I ignored the previous reviewers comment that the capacity is 240 gallons, but that's what it says on the label. Note that the standard bosch filter does 1500 gallons.That's about 9c/gallon for this filter and 2c/gallon for the standard bosch/3m filter that's $42. (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002GBYVAQ/)Also note that the english instructions on the package say the filter capacity is 240 gallons and the spanish instructions say 400 gallons as stated in the product description on amazon. Which make me think this is some cheap chinese knock-off of the real thing rather than an actual Bosch product. You really want all the water you drink filtered through unknown materials from some random unregulated factory in china?

I can't believe how much better my water tastes after changing the water filter. This filter looks like an authentic Bosch one, I don't know what the other reviews are complaining about. I can't tell you if it's better than the cheaper aftermarket filters, but I can tell you I have no regrets buying this.

This turned out to be the wrong filter for our fridge anyway but other buyers should be aware this is not 3M and almost certainly a knock off - see photo - the labelling is not what is advertised.

I drink more ice cold water with a brand new filter because it taste so damn good and pure.It’s expensive but if you’ve got the cash it’s worth it

My Bosch refrigerator came with a 3M water filter, but when looking for a replacement I ordered this Bosch. Very happy I did, the built in water dispenser in the door now operates more quietly and smoothly. Water tastes great.

Hardest fridge water filter to find.... if you need it and find it buy it!
