My nephew’s FAVORITE book!
I was SO HAPPY to come across this book while shopping for a baby shower!! This was my nephew’s faaaaaaavorite book when he was little (20 years ago)—so little that when I’d read, “I can jump”, the farthest he could get off the ground was his tippy toes. So, I bought 2 of these and plan to keep one to give to my nephew for if/when he becomes a dad.

A favourite
My daughter likes to copy the actions from this book, especially stamping her feet. Again these simple one word books are fun and easy to elaborate on what it is that the little toddler is doing. Sweet illustrations. We have the whole series now, a firm favourite.

Not a waste of money
Good book! My son is just loving it. I like the pictures that are big and only one word which makes my son more interested. Kids are withdrawn to the pictures not on the writings.so loving this book

Sweet little book
We have always loved Helen Oxenbury's book, ever since my oldest child was a baby. The illustrations are simple, but they still leave lots of room to 'discuss' with a little one. Babies love looking at human faces, and this book definitely fits the bill! We also love the single word isolations.I can't wait to give this book to my youngest son for Christmas, I know he'll love it as much as his older brother did!

Cute book. Do not expect big story lines. Each page simply has a picture with the baby showing an action and that action written down. Example of the front cover. "I can lift my leg" with the corresponding picture.

Probably best for parents who like to interact with their kid ...
It has one word per page. Probably best for parents who like to interact with their kid and get involved in lots of ways when reading books. Light weight, but still a board book and sturdy. Cute :)

Petit livre mignon
Je l'ai acheté pour mon petit neveu et je suis très heureuse de mon achat. Le livre est à la hauteur de mes attentes, très mignon et simple pour des enfants en bas âge et très coloré.

We love Helen Oxenbury, have several of her books. This is a bit different, outlining movement schemes
Great little book, outlining movement schemes. It's simple, clear, with a white background. Perfectly in line with the Montessori approach. No text, other than the verb accompanying the movement (jump, stomp...) We've had it for a year, and my daughter started being interested in it just recently, at 24 months. She chooses a page, does the movement, and says it verbally.
