An exceptional watch for the money
This is a very nice watch. It's look is very classy and it's spot on for keeping time. The leather band is very clever in that it is a leather/metal combination that snaps together. I bought it cause I need day and date, and for the money I think it's great. The automatic function is a great bonus as no more messing with batteries. I would have given 5 stars if it we're a little thinner, and the date we're easier to see. But hey, I'm an older guy and everything's getting harder to see. The date is kinda small, but that's why Rolex uses a bubble glass over theirs. But this watch is really beautiful on your wrist. I'm sure younger folks probably would have no issue with the size of the date. The documentation included with this watch is unbelievable. There is a 300 page booklet on the history of the company. Then there is another 300 page book on all their watches. Then there is also an operation manual. I have found only one issue with the watch. There is not much reserve power in the automatic winding. If I take it off at night it frequently will stop and need to be reset in the morning. If you take your watch off at night it's a good idea to give it a bit of manual winding before you go to bed.

Worth every penny
I was looking for an a automatic watch that will be dressy enough to wear with suits to work and casual to wear with jeans--this one has it both! I also wanted a black leather band, as I have other watches with metal bands. I have to say that this watch exceeded my expectations for style and functioning. The alligator black leather band, coupled with the black face makes it really fancy looking. It's quiet and keeps time perfectly. The day and date features make the watch different than other dressy watches I have too. Perfect size face for a medium size wrist. The reason I gave it a four was because the clasp mechanism on the leather band it's uncomfortable; the leather band is also too short, and I don't have very large wrists. I think a regular leather band without the clasp could have made this watch practically perfect in every way. Overall, worth every penny,
