Seat tilts unexpectedly. Hurts to sit on.
The concept is better than the execution. It's hard plastic that pinches. The collection tray is weirdly shaped, the seat tilts when you stand up. It doesn't roll easily. My Mom is bowel incontinent and hates diapers. I hoped she could sit on this during the day and be able to watch tv, etc. But no. Much too uncomfortable

Great chair except for the seat
I bought this roll-in wheelchair for my husband, he is hemiplegic, he can't move his left arm or left leg. I was hoping this chair would give him a little more independence taking a shower.First the likes. It was easy and quick to put together. It feels solid. It rolls smoothly. Wheel locks work well. The arm rests are the right height and length and they move up to get out of the way. The back is great support and a comfortable texture. It also allows room to get back there to wash the back. The foot rests not only move out of the way, they are completely removable, we don't use them so this is a great feature. Now for the cons. My husband does not want to use it as a bedside commode. He does not want the rectangular bin attached to the chair when he uses it in the shower. But when we slide the bin off, the seat falls through. First just a corner (as pictured) then the whole thing falls through. Since he is hemiplegic he can't hold himself up and starts falling through the hole. If we keep the bin in for use as a commode, it helps the seat stay in place but it fills with water during the shower and is difficult to empty before we roll out. It has to be emptied prior to leaving the shower area to keep the water spillage in the shower, otherwise it is a big mess to clean up outside the shower. So, it would get a full 5 stars if the seat stayed in place, but because it falls in, becomes uncomfortable and unsafe and it is a hassle to manage we feel a little disappointed considering how much we spent for the chair.

Too small
I need to return as it is too small. We took out of box and assembled it and sat patient in it and too small. We kept all packing and box and need label to return for credit. Sorry for inconvenience.

Perfect! 100% recommend
If you have a “comfort height commode” also known as accessible height and/or y’all commode this DOES fit over your commode no need for the under bucket!! I also was iffy on buying this product due to the comments of the seat falling and being “too short” but that’s not at all what I’ve experienced! Now if your commode is not a comfort height (taller than normal ones) it will not go all the way back because it gets stuck on the wheel axels. My boyfriend is a C7/T1 SCI and has no problems with this!! This is the cheapest option I could find to the ShowerBuddy and this is GREAT QUALITY and perfect for bowel program and shower!

Waste of money
Was a great chair while it was functional but in less than a year the integrity of the seat has been completely lost. I weigh around 165 lbs so nowhere near the max weight. The seat caved inward and even cracked at 10 and 2. I was probably a few uses away from it completely collapsing. Do yourself a favor and spend $200-300 and buy a shower chair that’ll last you a lot longer than 6-8 month. Also if you at taller than 5’10” this chair will be too small for you.

High quality for the price
Painted aluminum, stainless steel and sturdy plastic components make up this product. It is just the right height with excellent brakes on all wheels. The folding armrests are much appreciated. The only addition one might make is the addition of a seat belt, something we currently do not need.

Perfect for a safe shower for elderly
Works great for my elderly father. He has a roll-in shower at his assisted care facility. He can disrobe safely in his bedroom then roll into the shower and get a good safe shower, then roll back to his bedroom to safely
