Country Scenes in Acrylic (Paint This with Jerry Yarnell)

This is good book but for more advanced painters

I am lucky to have first met Jerry on 'Paint This with Jerry Yarnell'. I love this book. Right now the TV show is featuring a picture from the book. He explains things so that you can adapt the techniques to your own picture. He encourages you to paint out of the box. If you want everything to be exactly the same, you should just spend your money on a camera. I am about to purchase my 2nd book.

Other books I have receive from BBD were fine, but, there was a lot of critical writing in books, including on pictures and diagrams; someone thought there were a "better" artist that Jerry Yarnell, but they just ruined this book for me and this should never have been sold. This book was more expensive than most of his books (Country Scenes in Acrylics). I'm just real disappointed in this seller because of this. Thank you, Lois (and Steven) Sweat

I am very happy with it!

I chose this rating because this book was written for those who wanted to learn to paint with acrylics. The step by step instructions are awesome. I've learned a lot and I'm only on my first painting in the book.

Merry explains well, better than most how to books . Cause gives you a variety of techniques and paintings to follow.

Worthwhile book for beginners

Very good book. Many beautiful pictures. Jerry Yarnell books are always good. He is a very good teacher.
