Volkl V-Dry Grip | Overgrip | High Performance Tennis Grip

I've been hearing good things about this grip as an alternative to Tourna, so I decided to give it a go. I sweat a lot through my palms, so I need a durable and absorbent grip for the summer months.This grip has a very dry feel, almost like craft foam. It's also not completely smooth, it has a bit of texture to it in the form of very small bumps. The grip absorbs well, and lasts longer than Tourna. Tourna would start to shred after 3 hours of hitting, this thing didn't show signs of deteriorating until the 6 hour mark. Shouldn't be a problem if you have a shorter/smaller grip, or if you have a one-handed backhand.-Not Amazon Prime- The grip itself has the Volkl logo imprinted onto it. Not a huge deal, but I like my accessories to look clean and unbranded.This and Dunlop U-Sweat are tied for my choice of grip as a replacement for Tourna Grip. They feel very similar, the biggest difference being the Dunlop is a tad bit longer and only comes in black or white. I may edge towards the Volkl for the color options alone.

I sweat a lot. Think of the person you know who sweats the most and multiply by 3. I need a grip that keeps dry while maintaining a strong connection with my hand. I found this overgrip and won't ever use anything else. I've given it out to other player sand they love it just as much. I know it's pricey, but save yourself the experimentation and cost of trying out other grips and just go with this one.

As compared to other grips (super grap, gamma, etc.) these are just little short in my opinion. Maybe about 1-2” longer would be better and push me to 5 stars. As it sits, even with very minimal overlapping, it is too short for standard tennis rackets. Any less of overlap to extend the grip to full length at the top, won’t last during play as it will just fall off.

If you want a dry feel grip that is more durable and thicker than tourna and comparable to a regular tacky overgrip thickness than this is the grip for you. This grip is durable and keeps your hands dry. I love the way the grip is cut it wraps nicely with the end already tapered and cut at an angle. This grip comes in awesome colors too for style on the court. I use these for my pickleball paddles and I don’t even have to cut the grip.

Great dry feel, long enough to cover original grip, not too thick, and both ends slated so you can achieve a clean, seamless finish.Nothing is more annoying than a straight end that you have to tear or cut before applying finishing tape.You can even wrap it so that you start with the non sticky end at the butt of the handle and finish with the sticky part at the top to avoid the glue messing with original grip.Good value, nice colors that don’t bleed, and they hold up well.

I've been using Volkyl dry grip for 3-4 years. They are excellent. This time though the grip is smooth and slick, no grip at all. Wonder of this was real or fake
