I am 5 ft 7 1/2 and 214 pounds. I got this in a size 18 because even though I felt like I would be smaller I was reading reviews about the zipper and didn't want to risk it being too small because I hate the Hassel of returning anything. It was a great fit and I love that it was long even though I'm tall. It definitely was loose in the boob, shoulder, upper back part but I assume it would be a great fit if I had bigger ones lol. This is for a wedding and I love it!

It's been years since I felt so pretty in a dress! The middle-age spread has not been so kind to me, but this dress gives me back some of that confidence I used to have wearing a dress. It's also comfortable and made of good material. As I was steam ironing it, I discovered that a couple of threads had been snagged, so I had to exchange it for another.

I bought this dress for my wedding. It was the perfect size and fit. It needed no alteration. It does need a slip or something under as it is sheer in the light. I tried several different slips and went with a dark purple Gypsy skirt under for added color which you can’t see in the pictures, it was pulled it up into the band. I used a steamer to get the wrinkles out of the fabric. It was very comfortable. I did step on the train a little during pictures. I didn’t feel like I was going to “fall out the top of my dress” if I leaned over too far. I preferred it over the $2000 dresses I tried on at the bridal boutique. I didn’t want to spend thousands of dollars on a dress I wore for 4-5 hours. The thin zipper does stick a bit when at the ribbon section. I was able to zip myself and turn the dress around and slip my arms in. It was best to have help. I just need to wash it and store it now.

The dress itself is beautiful. I will have to have it altered in the shoulders, bust and length. Which will probably cost more than the dress is worth. But I think I will keep it. I have 2 other dresses that need to be delivered before I make my decision on which dress I will wear for my daughter’s wedding. Otherwise it’s a beautiful dress.

The fabric feels much cheaper than it looks online—very thin and wrinkled straight out of the package. The fit was also off. I ordered my usual size, but the bust was too tight and the waist sat awkwardly high. It didn’t flatter my shape at all.
