Principles of Engineering (Project Lead the Way (Hardcover))

Not well written, but it is the only book that my son can refer to for his high school engineer class.

Great book

Perfect for high school/junior college level. An accessible survey course that doesn't assume prior knowledge, good illustrations and clearly written. Just wish it wasn't so expensive!

Great help

I found this book to be a scourge to the notion of learning the basics of engineering. There were numerous mathematical and scientific concepts presented wrong in this book. For instance, it describes a system that has potential energy as a system that has no kinetic energy. Anyone that has sit in a physics class for the first couple of days would know this is not necessarily true. I understand that this is presented as a high school book, but it even gets high school physics concepts wrong. Very, very disappointing.

Went to College with Brett, very smart, good text. It covers all of the most important topics and is laid out in a smart way.btw, Brett, this Vinny Garrison, glad to see things are going well for you.
