History and dress-up=fun and learning for little people
If your child enjoys costumes and dress up, they will love this history-based magnetic set. Lots of colorful costumes from the past to mix and match, from ancient Egyptians and Romans to Vikings, knights, Mayan, French royalty, pirates, Samurai, and astronauts. Pieces are colorful and magnets are strong. Comes with cards of each complete costume and historical background on each costume in several languages. A really unique, fun and educational toy for kids that is a big hit in my classroom. This gets my preschool teacher thumbs up!

Great For Travel or Quiet, Focused Play
Adorable! This Alphabet Magnetibook seems very appropriate for my 4-year-old grandson who is just learning his letters and site words. Juratoys has many versions, all very cute and entertaining. I bought several versions for my grandchildren who travel a lot to visit family. It's great for quiet play in the airport, on the airplane, or even a long trip in the mini van. It fits on their laps so it helps them contain their play to 'their own space' and all the pieces are carried inside the book. This is nice alternative to playing on the i-pad all the time. Note: My only slight criticism is that the books do not latch or tie closed; I envision one of the kids spilling the pieces all over the airport - luckily that hasn't happened...but it's probably just a matter of time (smile). If used as a travel toy, I recommend finding a large rubber band to keep the book securely closed.so as not to lose pieces.

Cool, but has some flaws
Bought for our 2.5 yr old who hates the car. She seems to like it, but I'll have to update as to how much use it really gets later. I'm sure she'll enjoy it even more as she gets older if she doesn't destroy it first. She has already bent and torn a couple of the magnets. It's a nice set, but I gave four stars for a few reasons:1. It's twice as big as I thought. Not really all that travel friendly. It would fill a child's backpack up without much room for much else. It's about the size of a sheet of paper, a few inches thick (I haven't actually measured or looked to see if measurements are in the description.2. I suppose it's not really feasible to make it smaller because as it is, once you put the tree magnet on and a person or two there's not room for much else except all the little magnets that are about the size of peas. I'm sure most of these will get lost.3. The magnets are puffy made with cardboard and just a thin magnet layer, so you can't put things on top of each other (a person can't stand in front of the tree if you're using one of the tree magnets, for example). It would have been nice to be able to layer. They would have been more durable if they were just a thick magnet sheet with the picture on it, but then the pea sized ones would really be impossible to use and keep track of.4. The book doesn't magnet closed! If it's not laying flat it will open, so I have a rubber band around ours.I like the theme of this one, but the people are bit too comical for my liking.

Interactive & Educational
Love this! Our daughter has been interested in the weather and we've been discussing it as part of our daily circle time for homeschool preschool. We bought this for her 4th birthday and it's been a hit. She loves making different weather scenes, showing transition from one season to the next. Magnets stick well, love the carrying case. Highly recommend, it keeps her entertained and using her imagination.
