Sturdy and easy to assemble, even for me, and I am challenged at assembling things. I bought this for my family member who was transporting a 45lb dog across the country on Alaska Airlines (highly recommend Alaska for transporting a dog). It had clear instructions, wheels with brakes on them, and came with stickers for "Live Animal" plus a "certificate" that it is certified to fly, which some airlines require. Great product.

We use this to house both a mini dachshund and Jack Russell terrier, with plenty of room to boot. Set up was very simple with parts clicking and screwing in with confidence. The wheels roll and turn smoothly, with the front two being lockable. Most importantly, the two handles on the top are very strong and doesn't deform the plastic housing even when picking the whole thing up with 2 dogs inside (around 30 lbs.). Two small plastic bowls can be snapped onto the door for a small amount of food/water.My only concern is that because only the front 2 wheels can lock, the kennel would still be rolling all over the place during transport, though they are removable.

I bought all kinds of different carriers from expensive to inexpensive ones.Top loader carriers, fabric carriers, and so on.I prefer the hard shell carriers as these are the safest kinds for transport.I was looking for the snap side locks to make it easier for me to disassemble and store away when not in use.This carrier is high a quality carrier. It’s durable and functional.Whoever designed this carrier, designed the perfect carrier for all uses from going to the vet or traveling long distances.This carrier is constructed properly to allow for safe transport without worrying that your cat or dog will get out at all.I’ve had cheaper plastic carriers where my cats busted through the top load doors, front doors, and or break through zippers in fabric carriers.It’s worth it to invest in a high quality carrier,than waste your money on poor cheaply made carriers, only to put your cats or dog in jeopardy if they get loose and run away.I purchased 4 of these carriers, but plan toPurchase more for each of my cats/dogs.

Used this to move my dog by plane to Europe. She passed airport inspections. The wheels were a godsend as it was just me, my dog a few suitcases. She is 30lbs and had a ton of space.

The latching mechanism is secure, keeping my dog safe and contained without any risk of escape.The only reason I’m giving it four stars instead of five is that it’s a bit bulky, making it harder to store in smaller spaces. However, it’s still very practical for travel and provides great value. If you need a reliable, sturdy kennel for your dog, this is a solid option!

I’m getting a new Lab puppy so I needed a kennel. I really like this one. It was relatively easy to put together if you follow the instructions which I didn’t initially do lol. Suggest you do it as a few steps aren’t intuitive. I did have a bit of a problem getting the holes to line up so I could insert the screws thru the holes to connect the top and bottom pieces. However, with some pressure I was successful. I like the fact it has holes to tie it down in the car. I bought bungee cords for that. This is one of the few kennels that have these tie down holes. Also the screws and nuts are metal rather than plastic which airlines require. Many of the other kennels have plastic hardware. I like that the wheels are sturdy and removable so I can move it around the house with ease since it’s 21lbs without the big puppy in it. I got the Large 32 inch that has 2 handles back and front so you can pick it up with ease. The smaller ones only have one handle in the middle. I think it was a good buy since it was on sale.

Bought “used like new.”It basically is new. Hahathe only way you’d tell this was used is the way the parts for it came attached to one line of tape 🤣🤣🤣. Perfect for our girl. And has everything she needs to fly.Came with 4 live animal stickers 2 attachable bowls for food and water. Wheels and metal bolts and nuts. Exactly what’s needed to fly.VALUE FOR MONEY 100%!Sturdy functions as intended.Took 5 minutes to put together, easy to use simple flight safe design.

The quality of this XL crate (kit, assembly required), exceeds all other crates I've owned previously. XL crate with all assembly parts included, were ALL NEW (+2 extra bolts & wing nuts included). All instructions included & thorough, 4 live animal labeling stickers, crate assembly was pretty self explanatory. XL crate fully assembled is extremely sturdy, I did not install the 4 caster wheels to use the crate in my home, the wheels do install very easily for convenient travel. I am very pleased with my purchase & would like to thank Sport Pet Designs for offering such a high quality product for a very affordable price. Much Appreciated & Thank You!
