Very niche but if you are in the market then this one is a solid choice.
Just installed this Fire Department Lock Box and honestly, I'm pretty pleased with it. The construction is solid and it looks like it'll stand up to the elements. The chain release works smoothly which is reassuring. It was fairly simple to set up and it gives me peace of mind, knowing emergency services can get access if needed. A bit of a niche product, but if you need one, this one does the job well.

Perfect for my First Responder gear collection.
As a part time First Responder (was full time for 5 years) I have been collecting gear related to to Fire Fighting and SAR for years. While I have no real use for this I thought it would be cool to have.It's VERY well made and all the hardware that comes with it is solid and high quality. Looks great!If you are a collector like I am, you will want one of these. If you fight fires for a living and have a sliding gate - this might be just the thing your Department might be looking for.All in all, this box w/hardware is worth every penny they are asking for it. I absolutely recommend getting one of these - no matter what you are going to be using it for.

Fire Fighter Approved!
This is made really well and does what It's supposed to with no complaints. My dad is a retired Chicago Fire Fighter and he and I both collect Fire Fighter stuff so this was just perfect to add my(our) collection. It's also very well made and will absolutely work in a real world situation. So whether you are getting this to use in a fire house or to add to a collection for display, It's great either way and I highly recommend this.
