Play-Doh My Little Pony Rainbow Dash Style Salon Playset

This was eleven bucks well spent. My four year old is wild about the Ponies, and is a huge Play Doh fan. This is a winning combination. Although this looks like another piece of plastic to me, she sees a million design possibilities and color combinations. She finds the dull plastic scissors to be a delightful compliment to this equestrian figure. My favorite feature is the slide button that allows the top to hinge open to clean doh from the "hair" dispenser, so we don't have to chisel out dried bits later.The only negative is the size of the play doh canisters that came with it. (Not deducting stars for that, though, because I read the item description and knew what I ordered.) That amount of doh just doesn't go very far. Thankfully, this is not our first rodeo, and I had the foresight to purchase a multi-colored case of larger canisters for many, many minutes of modeling pleasure.

This is actually pretty neat! There's an extruder in this pony's head, but the really nice part is that you can unlock the place you put the dough in so that you can clean it out. It's realllllly nice. There's lots of places to mold with, and you can build her wings and body decorations as well as using the spots for molding. There were some nicely-thought-out colors, and the cute scissors were handy, too. Lots of places to play on such a simple (at first glance) toy. Really good one.

We bought this as a Christmas present for our 4 year old and she loves it! The playdoh feeds into Rainbow Dash's head (sounds more painful than it truly is) and gets pushed out as a mane, which can be styled, shaped and trimmed with the nifty little scissors. Rainbow Dash can also be decorated all over with the little playdoh moulds. This toy has been played with many times since Christmas, a true success in our house, as the kids tend to fly from activity to activity within minutes. Overall, fun, nicely made and keeps the kiddos busy for a while. Win, win!

My 3 year old loves it. It was to be a Christmas gift, but she saw it when it arrived! I purchased this item after watching a video online. It is easy to clean from our first few uses. I have not let play dough dry on it. The pony has 16 molds on the sides of the pony. The wings snap in out easily, fall out at times. I find the wings easier to decorate in the palm of your hand. The extruder is easy to operate even for my 3 year old. The locking mechanism will get play dough in it allowing it to unlock unexpectedly. She did manage to get play dough between the legs which was hard to clean out. I do see this pony as a go to play dough toy for her. She loves play dough and ponies!

Christmas gift for my 3 yr old granddaughter. She recieved a fair share of gifts but IMMEDIATLY wanted to play with this one. And play she did for the next 1 1/2 hours. Completely and thoroughly happy and excited with it. Her mom says it's still the toy she goes to the most often to play with. A good gift that's well made that makes a little one happy( as well as her grandmother) can't be beat

Fun toy! The designs are cute and detailed. When playtime is finished, the dough releases easily for cleanup. We used a toothpick to get in out of the tiny places. Perfect rainy day activity for our 8-year-old. Would probably be fun for younger children, but they may not have the patience to fill in the many details. I don't think our girl would have gotten much use out of it before age 6, as she would not have been able to sit and concentrate long enough until that age.

Its smaller than what I thought. The part where the playdoh comes out sometimes pops open when pressing down when making hair. It's annoying. Also, as the hair grows, it leaves little room to place more playdoh inside without squishing the hair. Wish other Characters were available besides Rainbow Dash.

My kids love this thing. I never got how to get the playdoh out of well here is would be her head. It gets stuck and annoys me. The kids don't care of course. This is fun otherwise. You can take her off the green stand. It came with 5 or 6 small containers of playdog, scissors and the big pony. She has a lot of little shape molds to make on her. No a bunch of peices which I like because not so much to put up. Great little playdoh set
