A great buy during lockdown!
Colours are beautiful and easy to follow. Comes with a smaller sheet with the numbers on also so you can go back and look for the smaller details you may have covered with paint. Totally worth it!

Thin paint
Enjoy the pattern yet find some of the paints to be rather watery/thin- means that some colours need more that one coat leaving it looking a bit messy. Especially colour 14.

A colourful and dramatic landscape that needs a lot of personal input
Landscape with deerI was attracted by this wonderfully glowing scene right from the start, but I did not find that the colours supplied and the plan enabled me to produce the effects shown in the product page image. This is quite a common issue with these painting-by-numbers sets; you look at the product page image and think you will get something just like that if you follow the printed colour panels. Not always so!There are some colours that match well (10, 12 and 22, for example) but there are others which make parts of the painting too dark. The sky isn’t quite right when it is painted according to the numbered panels, particularly where there are sharp contrasts between different colours and shades. This means that a lot of blending and feathering needs to be added for a realistic looking painting. Not only that, but to get the luminous effect of the product page image a certain amount of re-colouring or colour substitution is required to correct the colours stated in the plan for the lake and the mountains. The mountain mists also need to be added off-plan.These are acrylic paints, not oil paints. They do dry out and some of the colours need to be mixed with small amounts of water to give effective coverage on the exposed weave in the canvas surface which is not completely smooth. It is, however, smoother than most of the other sets I have bought. Colours 14, 15 and 17 are extremely dark colours and they would make the finished painting far too dark when used straight from the pot. I watered down them by more than 50% in the lid of the pot, while using number 16 (totally black) only for trees in silhouette. The brushes are not great, merely adequate, but at this price the hours of enjoyment you get from completing the painting, and adapting the plan to make it look more realistic, translate into it being a bargain. Paint quantity was more than enough for all colours. Colour 15 was provided in two pots and I only used half of one of them.I have included photos showing the unblended sky as painted according to the plan, the painting with colours substituted, and with blending, feathering and mountain mists added. In attempting to produce a painting that looks like the product page image I learned quite a number of techniques. It is a real shame that this kit comes with the canvas folded because it has to be ironed from the back to get some semblance of a flat, crease-free surface. I found that using a medium hot steam iron on the reverse side worked best, although I had to iron it on the front side with a few quick strokes to finally remove the last of the creases.I find that the best way to frame these kits when finished is to use a clip frame with an acrylic sheet rather than a glass front. The advantage of a clip frame is that if you do a lot of these paintings you can change them around easily when you get bored after a while with looking at the same ones. The photos show my finished version and the result of following the plan for the sky with no blending or feathering.

Happy with my purchase
Arrived quickly. With complete colours of paint included and 3 pcs of brush although, i used my own set. Easy to follow and really therapeutic. I bought a separate frame and framed it myself. In total, i got it cheaper compared to buying the canvas already framed. But its up to you if you are willing to do it yourself.

lovely
Waited pretty long for this ,about 7 weeks but due to Covid I know all deliveries are taking longer . I have ironed the canvas and it was perfectly fine ,lovely little numbers ,beautiful colours . Only few colours I had to go over twice due to looking patchy, 2 of my purples almost run out so would prefer a bit more painting but overall great product and great fun !

Frustratingly fun, was worth the purchase.
Really enjoyed the process and a brought a few others to do with the fam. Overall good experience and good quality of materials.Keep the instructions! Ended up forgetting a few of the numbers and the instructions were really useful in correcting some mistakes.Would recommend.

Just ok
Bought this for my mum because I knew she'd really like the colours. Unfortunately, the colours are largely different to the original picture, although my mum still liked the colours. Also, the canvas came folded which left a large crease I couldn't get rid of even by ironing out out.2 of the colours ran out. They were for two that I needed most and I received less paint than the rest so had to mix my own which weren't quite the same.Nonetheless, the picture is good and the paint and canvas good quality.

the paint does not look like the picture
I really tried to paint it well, exactly like in the instructions but the colors mismatch to each other, without blending but of course I've got this knowledge after I finished so there is nothing what i can do to looks it better. It is hard to cover the numbers . I'm very disappointed I wasted a lot of time for it and some money too.
