Redken No Blow Dry Airy Cream | For Fine, Thin Hair | Lightweight Air Dry Styler Enhances Hair's Natural Style

Good stuff! I have fine, thin hair and have been using this for a while to wash & go. It does not dry crunchy at all and my wave holds all day. Really great alternative to blow drying and straightening in the summer heat. What I do is: comb and part just out of the shower, put my hair in a T-shirt to absorb a bit of water, then use about a quarter sized amount of product and scrunch. I discovered this method looks best. I tried brushing it straight but it looks a mess and doesn’t stay straight. I’ve tried a lot of things from diva curl to Japanese straightening and I find my hair will do whatever I want for a time as long as I’m committed to it. However, the balance of time vs effort is not always there. This is a relatively cheap solution for me and I think my hair looks healthier since I’m not heat styling as often. I’m on my second bottle and I’ll buy another.

I actually don't have fine hair. Just some background: I'm Asian and I have straight, thick, hair; course sometimes at the ends. If I put certain products in my hair, it easily weighs it down making my hair even more heavy/straight than it already is. Although my hair is thick, it sometimes can be really straight and slippery after I wash it, making it hard to style.I really like this particular NBD because it gives my hair some body and wave; also, it's easier to style. Everyone knows that second day hair is easier to style; well this product gives me that second day texture without the oily roots of second day hair. I love also how my hair doesn't FEEL like there's product in it.This is also great when you're on beach vacation, don't want to blow dry your hair but also don't want to walk around like you just got out of bed. It really works to make my hair look polished and that I worked to make it look good but I didn't.

Nope, doesn’t work with my hair. My hair is very fine and if not flat ironed it’s “feathery” it doesn’t adhere to each other. I don’t know how else to describe my hair, it must aways be flat ironed or it will be frizzy and fluffy and humidity makes it more frizzy. This product made my hair feel so disgusting. I let it airdry for about an hour but it was still wet and I couldn’t take how gross it felt so I had to jump back in the shower.

I have been using Bumble and Bumble Don't Blow It. I do like that product, however the Redkin product is 1/2 price and works fine.

I have curly / frizzy, dyed, porous, fine, thinning hair. I've been using Bumble + Bumble Don't Blow It Fine (H)air Styler for over a year, but now that I've tried Redken No Blow Dry Airy Cream for Fine Hair, I'm switching to this product. It lets my hair air dry with no crunchiness, my curls turn out softly definedand more wavy than curly, contrils frizz, my hair actually looks pretty, and the scent is unobjectionable / very mild, pretty much undetectable once dry.

So - I am unsure if this is a genuine product. While it does what it says it does, I find it odd that the area on the bottle where either a product number and/or expiration date is very visibly scratched out.

My hair is baby fine, soft, and thin. This gives my hair some body all while still air drying.

I wear a short pixie cut, and have fine and thin hair. My hope was to find a product that could work while traveling Central America without a hair dryer or ability to style my hair, yet still look halfway decent. This product did none of the above. It weighed down my hair, no matter how small the amount, and completely flattened it to my scalp. I ended up having to wear a hat every day because my hair looked silly. I think this is a better solution for longer hair.
