This is the best lunch box I have ever bought for my 6 year old. It truly is leak proof. The main compartment is large enough to get 2 sandwiches in. I just had to figure out how to cut them. I cut off the crust. Then cut each sandwich into 4 squares. I put 6 squares in a standing horizontal row. Then put the other two above that row the opposite way. I get a snack bag of chips in two compartments. I have also used the spork area for turkey sticks or cubed/stick cheeses if I needed to add protein to her lunch. I dont pack all of these items into one lunch. Just giving some options on how to ustilize the compartments. My daughter has no trouble opening this on her own. I will add that I already had a bag with a front pocket that I use for this container. But only because I was worried she'd crush her juice box in the bag that comes with it because it's a tight fit. I did discover that if you flatten the juice box it will fit just fine. But my child is really rough on her lunch boxes. So I don't want to chance a mess.On a side note, I ordered two of these at the same time because of the savings you get when you do. When my package came, I only received one. I wasn't sure if it was Amazon shipping warehouse that made the mistake or if it was the seller. I choose to first contact the seller, East World. They responded immediately and took care of the situation. I received my second one within a day. So kudos to the East World customer service!

Bought a while ago for my childs school lunch. It does take getting used to opening and closing it as it’s a bit tight. Wouldn’t purchase it again because after a few month the leak proof wasn’t that leak proof anymore.

So I actually bought this for my husband. He's not a big eater, and he's a skinny guy- whopping 136 lbs. He's a UPS man, so he's running around all day delivering packages, and (especially with the influx in online ordering thanks to COVID) he doesn't necessarily have time to really stop and eat. So I've been using this to make "adult lunchables" and it's been great. Perfect tray for snacks, cheese, crackers, pepperoni, nuts, pretzels. Sometimes I throw in a cookie. I also like that it comes with a freezer pack and utensils, and it's very easy to hand wash. It says dishwasher safe, but since we use it every day, it's just quicker to hand wash, so I haven't tried it in the dishwasher.It definitely seems leak proof, and easy to open for kids, though the locking sides might be somewhat challenging for younger kids.

I ordered two of these for my kids and loved them. I always hand washed them but on the back of the container it had the symbol for being dishwasher safe so I threw them in the dishwasher (on the top rack) for a change. It warped the lids terribly to the point I could barely close them back on the box. I went back to the item description and it said that you can use in dishwasher except for the lid. I was terribly disappointed. I reached out to the seller to see if I could purchase just the lids and they sent me two new bento boxes for free, without any hassle whatsoever! Amazing customer service!! Highly recommend product, just make sure you hand wash the lid :)

I waited to review because I wanted to see if it would hold up! It’s probably the best toddler lunch box. I ordered two for my 20 month old toddler twins, who are in Mother’s Day out! I can give variety of food and portions and they love it. I can’t say wether or not the food remains hot because I tend to do fruit, snacks, pb&j or turkey. I have done mini corn dogs in the oven right before we head out and I put them in their boxes nice and hot. They are eaten by the time they get home; I’m assuming they were still good and warm lol. The box comes with the carry case, spork, another fork, and ice pack. Well worth the price!

I am so glad I chose this box out of all of the ones I looked at. My 6 & 8 year olds have no problem opening or closing them. They love how they now only have one container to open for their whole lunch. It doesn’t leak! At all! I love it! I’m thinking maybe after more use & the lid gets loosened a bit it could leak but it hasn’t yet. The video shows room for a juice box, I haven’t found one that fits yet so you may need to purchase a different lunch box to carry it. The first box I ordered was wet inside of the original packaging & had molded, gross. I returned it & was very impressed that I received my replacement the next day. Great box for my kids lunches overall!

I ordered two of these for my kids because I was tired of using a dozen plastic bags every day for a standard lunch box. These are amazing. The only downside is you can't fit a full sandwich in the large compartment. I can't even bring myself to care about that though since I can send them leftovers without fear of my Tupperware never returning! Plus, even on the odd days I do send half a sandwich, the other compartments have enough space for me not to worry about them being hungry.A breeze to clean, have put chili and spaghetti and curry and never had an issue with discoloration. The lids are a bit of a pain to snap on but boy do they hold! Both the blue and pink ones I ordered came with extremely heavy duty spoon/fork/knife things (though different ones, oddly enough) that the kids love.

There are so many bento boxes out there, I chose this one because it comes with an insulated bag, ice pack, a spoon and a separate big fork, knife, and spoon combo (very smartly designed, considering it's for on the go). I was confused between this one and the Bentgo box, simply because the Bentgo box seemed more popular. I decided to go with this one because I would have to spend additional money and time trying to get the insulated bag, ice pack. It was a very good decision, as the quality of the product is excellent. The first time I opened it, my toddler literally jumped in the high chair to eat from it. This evening, I had the box prepped for tomorrow, she insisted she wanted to snack from it right before bed. It's a very special lunch box which makes my toddler feel special. My only wish now is that I have this wonderful box for my own air travels (though a bit bulky for that). A sure shot hit!
