I love listening to Rachmaninov. I just received this boxed set today and it is magnificent. In a time when it seems increasingly harder to find good collections or any collections of classical composers this is a great find.

All of Rachmaninov, very beautiful music! Great sound quality. I was familiar with many of the musicians, but Swedish Soprano Elizabeth Söderström was a wonderful find. She reminds me of the first time I heard Martha Argerich play - there is just something in her performance.

I admit that of the 32 CDs a few have some minor imperfections, and perhaps I drew the short straw; but the entire works of this genius are pure delight. Worth five times more than I paid.

I had problems with discs 10 and 22. Two tracks on each disc skipped. The product had arrived in pristine condition, so the problem appears to have originated with factory production. The seller replaced the discs at no charge to me. The music quality is superior.

The collection is broad and inclusive of most of his best-known works. I enjoy his emotional and forceful pieces that demand to be heard time and again, and I do. The quality of the recording is superb.

Almost done with the whole collection. I loved it.

I bought this initially in a kind of manic desire to ‘own’ Rachmaninov, his music and his talent. God forbid maybe even as an investment. The nice box sat on my shelf. It’s only when I bought a cheap cD disc man and played a CD everyday for 32 days that the true beauty opened up for me. An amazing spiritual journey with Rachmaninov as my guide. Amazing.

Esto es una maravilla. Tantos discos por ese precio, teniendo en cuenta el contenido y los músicos que están interpretando las obras inmortales de Rachmaninov. La calidad de CDs es muy alta, compra recomendable.
