Perfect umbrella
I've been searching for a NORMAL umbrella for ages - I wanted something fairly light, sturdy, foldable, not too big and preferably something that will last more than a couple of months of the English weather. Umbrellas I bought in the past were always either too heavy or too flimsy. This one sits right in the middle of those two - it's got a bit of weight, but not heavy at all, and it's definitely sturdy. The weight was a bit of a deal breaker for me in the past, I got so much stuff on me all the time, that I can do without a heavy umbrella. This is light enough to not be noticeable in my bag (or in my hands when carried). The spring for opening and closing is a welcome bonus although wasn't essential for me. The size of the umbrella when it's open is a good middle ground as well - not the small size you get in other foldable ones but also not the huge tent that the non-foldables can create. Absolutely fine to cover comfortably one that carries a lot of stuff like I do and also to share if you squeeze a little. When it's folded it is bigger than your standard foldable, although more because of the type of handle than anything else. The handle itself is great, easy to hold, would not want to go back to those small plasticky ones on the cheap umbrellas. You get a case with it as well (plus the generic fabric one), which can be helpful if the umbrella is wet or you need extra protection. I haven't used it yet, as it takes more space in a bag and there wasn't really any need for it so far. It's a nice extra to have though.Price is a bit steep I guess, especially when you don't know what you're getting. But after using it, I think the price is OK and would buy again if I lost it or something happened to it (let's hope that won't be the case!).UPDATE: Must've jinxed it, because I managed to lose it after less than 10 days. Have bought a new (same) one, because I still think it's an awesome umbrella. Won't joke about anything anymore in my reviews though......

Fantastic umbrella.
I have bought this umbrella for my partner. It is excellent size umbrella to fit two people under it. It comes with the protection case which is great for storing when umbrella is not in use. The size is good for keeping it in the bag. This umbrella is convenient and quick to open and close by only pressing the button. Really sturdy, holding up very well against heavy wind and rain.Value for money! Would recommend to anyone.

Perfect umbrella, genuinely wind proof
I lost my previous umbrella, so bought this as a replacement. My old One was a good one, and was supposedly windproof. However, it still had a habit of blowing out on very windy days, which is very annoying. I’ve tested this new umbrella three times now over the course of a couple of hours on blustery days, and so far he has not blown out once. It’s light and easy to use.Very, very happy with it.

Good performance and value
This Fylina Travel Umbrella is compact and well-made at its price point and compact enough to stow in most bags. The canopy is a decent size and the fabric is highly water repellent which also means it dries quickly too.The umbrella is easy to open with just a press of a button and the spring does the rest for you, that handle is comfortable enough for prolonged use. The frame seems durable and is made to flex with rather than resist the wind.I did, however, find the provision of both a pod type case and a cover a bit unnecessary in a world where we are trying to minimise consumption. I think a cover would adequate as you then have to store the zippered pod case.Overall, this is a well made, effective umbrella at a decent price.

An Umbrella with its own Case is on 'The Case'
This is a really sturdy umbrella. It handles the weather really well and is easy to grip and hold.Be careful however when you put it up. It has a really powerful action and is deployed in the flash of an eye. Make sure you hold it at arms length and not amongst tightly knit crowds! What really stands out for me though is that it comes with its own sturdy case. I've lost count of how many umbrellas I have lost to either leaving full length ones on the tube or having collapsible ones damaged in my bag.The case is very tough and protects the more delicate bits of the brolly and solves the issue of having to carry a full length brolly about. We are a family of four so I bought two.Highly recommended.

Very sturdy but opening/closing button is in a very unconvenient place
First, great quality, very sturdy, even in heavy rain and wind. the only thing is the opening/closing button which is in a place that make you accidentally activate all the time and then it either opens or closes when you don't want it. E.g. it closes during heavy rain and all the water collected on the umbrella pours all over you. Sturdy and good quality enough for me not to return it but I think they need to revisit this button and move it up a bit because it makes holding the umbrella a bit difficult sometimes.

Well made easy to put up with a press of a button
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. It comes with a sleeve plus a Hardcase for extra protection perfect for leaving in the car, the only downside we found is that my wife had trouble closing it back up ready for the next time, as it is quite springy but I have shown her there is an easy way on how to close it back up which you can see in my video plus it is shown on the Amazon page as well, I think it will only be a matter of time before she gets the hang of it.For the amount of money, it's cost, I think it's well worth it, a solid build works very well just a bit hard for the wife to close.

Not the lightest but appears to be super sturdy
This umbrella feels quite sturdy and its open and close mechanism makes it appear quite fancy. You press the button for it to explode open and the press again to close. You have to push the umbrella back into the handle to load it up for the next opening (via some sort of spring mechanism). It handles strong wind better than other umbrellas I have and there is also a slight vent at the top to allow for ventilation and prevent wind from blowing it over like a sail.Overall it is a bit heavy and larger than i expected, but it serves its function well. Hopefully it'll live up to my renewed expectations for many rainy days to come!
