I was excited to receive this product, and the seat itself was very adequate. I installed the legs and pushed the futon against the wall. In the process of doing so a leg completely busted off. The entire mounting hole for the leg gave way and ripped out of the futon. This wasn’t anything excessive either, I aimed to slide it back a foot and a half. So I enjoyed this item for all of ten minutes. I’m completely upset over the waste of money this item has proven to be. If you purchase, handle with care!

Bought this for my 9 year old son's room and in 2 weeks all the legs had snapped off. I started to get mad at him thinking he was "rough housing" on the furniture but all he was doing was playing ps4 with his friends. I turned it upside down to investigate thinking maybe I could fix it. The legs weren't broken! The corner joints had been affixed with STAPLES. Staples? Really? Not screws or nails.. staples. I thought "you get what you pay for" and cheap is what cheap does. That's why it was so FRAGILE! Screws or nails would've been better. So I decided to do it myself. When I put screws into the wood joint.. the joint split in half. Then I had to pay $30 to trash a large item at the dump. Long story short.. this item is CHEAPLY made and will break.

So I brought this item for my very first apartment futon sofa bed and when I finally gotten it by mail I was so excited to put it up in a hurry but when I finally put everything together took a step back to look at it something was wrong .. the legs on the sofa was damaged leaning . Which it shouldn’t be an so mad at myself cause my kids wanted to sit on it when I decide to let them cause they not heavy the sofa bed completely drop .. I wish it was fixable I spend a lot of money on now my apartment back to no sofa ... please be careful what ya buy I want my refund back ..

Clean, simple modern design, feel sturdy, comfortable whether I use it as a chair or a bed.**Update: Purchased on May 19, 2019, one leg was broken on Sep 2020 when my friend was sitting on the one side alone. Since that moment, I am using this sofa with stacked books under the sofa, sadly. As other reviewers wrote, the legs are extremely weak.

Exactly what I was looking for and less expensive than the alternatives. I bought this to go into a mini-bus that I am converting to a camper. Wanted some good seating for when I am driving and have the option for a additional bed if needed. This was the perfect size and comfortable. The assembly was easier than expected too. Took longer to open the box than it did to assemble.

Well worth the cost! First - this comes nearly fully assembled. My first futon came in pieces, required a TON of assembly, and was absolutely terrible to sit on. This futon only requires that you screw on the legs, and stand it up. EASY! It's also really nice to sit on. Using it as a daily bed? Probably not a great idea. It's very small. But my wife often sneaks off to sleep on this when I am snoring, and she has no trouble sleeping on it in a "couch position". It's VERY easy to recline, and just as easy to stand back up into a couch. It lays 100% flat, and has plenty of cushion. It's almost like a very low-standing massage table. And it looks very much like leather. Overall, a great investment!

Excellent sofa so neat and classy. Was extremely easy to put together, please do not get the assembly option, you dont need it!Love, love, love this sofa, definitely worth the money!

It’s nice looking but very cheaply made. The description says it has soft padding but it is not soft at all.
