Legend of Zelda Best Collection Piano Sheet Music by Nintendo (2008-05-04)

This book is great for Zelda fans and who also want and desire to play some of the tunes from the games on piano. I am learning how to play the piano and read music theory. So if you don't have much motivation, this may help you. The book is of course, in Japanese. So if your already a fluent person or at least intermediate in the language this would be helpful to you. But if you don't know Japanese, then you at least need to know music theory for this book. It is not for complete beginners. But you grow into learning it. As somebody who studied Japanese growing up and still learning, it is another motivator. Either way still a win-win.

This book is great! Even though it's kind of a disappointment that only songs from a select few Zelda games are in here, it's still very worthwhile. I really like the fact that they have quite a few songs from Wind Waker, which would be one of my favorite Zelda games. Although, given that it is an import it is a bit more expensive. Anyway, the songs themselves range from painfully easy to medium in terms of difficulty. I would take the time to list out all the songs, too, but there's a lot of them; however, most of them are very short. Another thing is that the copy I received is not spiral bound so it can make it a little harder to keep the book open at times. Other than that I have no complaints. There are a few pictures decorating the inside, too, but they're in black and white.I'd recommend this book to any piano playing Zelda fan.

I bought for my daughter to play. I didn't look very closely, but the writing is in Japanese. Not a problem though - the music is universal. She is enjoying wondering what song it will be :)

It's a nice book, though it would definitely be better if available with a spiral. Also, take into account that the pieces are mostly simplified. I have not checked all of them, but plenty of the ones I've tried are simplified from the original.

Was looking for full serenade of water song.

Have had this book for around a decade now and I must say it is PHENOMENAL! This book is important!It is one of the best zelda sheet musicbooks in the world!It got chords and everything!

Very large collection of Zelda music, a thick book, so it won't stay open that easily bud for this price ive got no complains. Very nice

I haven't yet had time to get far with this but it obviously grabs the enthusiasm of a 15 year old student I know who finds Japanese culture fascinating

I love these piano renditions of popular Zeldathemes, great for intermediate to advanced players.Shipping took a long time, but worth it in my opinion.

Item arrived earlier than expected and was exactly as described. All the song titles are in Japanese, but I did know that when I ordered. Having great fun with it!
