So happy we didn't have to get rid of the lamp. Exact lacement.

Nice to find a pre-made lamp cord set with switch
I got this to replace a cord set on a lamp whose switch had broken. I'd almost despaired of finding one pre-made and was contemplating making one out of zip cord, a plug, and a switch, but then found this one on Amazon. Interesting that it's sold by a craft store rather than an electric parts supplier, but in hindsight it makes sense. My only (slightly) negative comment is that the stripped wire ends are very lightly tinned; I would have liked them to be somewhat more heavily tinned so they would be stiffer and easier to fit into the "gripper"-style connections on my lamp's socket. But overall it works fine. Got it in brown; would have preferred if it were available in black.

Good Replacement Lamp Cord
The lamp cord was an exact match to the one I was replacing.

Easiest rewire job I ever did
The cord had a on off switch built in to it. It was long enough for my lamp and met electrical codes. I viewed a video on changing out the wire to be sure I had the correct lines hooked to hot and neutral. It took me maybe 10 minutes or less to rewire the lamp. When I ordered the cord I thought I was getting one but the price was for two and that was very inexpensive. I am sure I'll be using the spare. I have a parrot that had chewed his share of electrical cords and wood molding.

Worked Great, but swictch should be lowered
I purchased this cord to fix a broken lamp. The cord arrived in good condition and worked perfectly transforming what had become a paperweight back into a lamp. My lamp is about a foot tall and the switch is only a couple inches beyond that on the cord. If the lamp had been any taller, the switch would have prevented me from being able to pull the cord up through the channel. You may want to consider this, if you plan on using the cord for lamps over a foot tall.

Poor Design
The cord / switch seem to be of good quality, but the switch is only a few inches from the stripped end of the wire. Which means, if you need to wire a lamp, there is no way to run the wire THRU the lamp to get to the socket where the stripped end of the wires would need to connect.

Correct wiring procedure
Having very little electrical background and splicing into existing wiring that was not polarized with the purchased wiring being polarized made it a bit difficult to do. But thanks to Google I was able to figure it out.
