In my top 5 cd's I listen too
This is a great cd with no music and is very natural. This Thunderstorm cd has a perfect level of sound when it comes to thunder and rain. I find most every other thunderstorm cd has the thunder way louder than the rain which is anoying because you have to turn it down which means you can barly hear the rain. If you truly listen to thunderstorm cds every night like I do you will understand what I mean. This cd is great because the rain is nice and loud and comes in many diffrent sounds through out the cd and I find its one of the only cd's I have tried where the rain doesnt sound just like white noise and fuzz sound.The thunder is at a perfect high and the type of thunder is amazing I may add aswell. It is rolling/growling thunder which sounds great rather than other cd's with huge Ka-booms and Cracking/POW's of thunder which i cant sleep too.This cd is on my 2nd slot on my cd changer for being so damn perfect at geting me to sleep every night.

White Noise
It takes some getting use to but it does grow on you. I could wish that it sounded a bit more like rain rather than UHF static. However, it is effective white noise and it gets the job done. The thunder is subtle and soothing - no sudden crashes to bolt you out of bed. The primary reason that I got this CD is to try to drown out our neighbors dog who barks outside our bedroom window all night long. With this CD playing, we can still hear the dog barking but, like the thunder, the barking sounds to be in the far distance and is actually soothing in itself.

Too much static
using it for sleep wife complained it sounded like static and not rain. I had to agree.

Perfect
We have bought and used many other storm cd's. This one is top notch. Storm cd's in general are great for relxation and this one in particular helps to mask background noises. That is very helpful to us being that we live in a noisy neighborhood near a highway. Put this on and it's like you're far far away from all the chaos.

I love this cd and listen to it alsmost evernight. the rain sounds very authentic and the intensity changes so its not too monotnotus, it is also good for drowning out external noise if you have trouble sleeping like me. The thunder is distant and low so it doesn't jolt you awake.

yes, I am really on my 3rd CD. i put it on repeat all mode and play it every night, all night!it is sooooo relaxing...a gentle rain storm with low background thunder. if you love a rainy night, you will love this CD!
