I do like them a lot
These are I'll say - very strange - odd material, odd waistline, where and how they fit. Yet - they work ! I do like them a lot. Not for street wear for sure, and not underwear, they're kinda scratchy by themselves. Can't imagine wearing them at gym. For me they're just house shorts.

Good Comfortable Shorts
I'm a male who weights 130 lbs and I'm 5'7". I bought a medium in black because I figured I'd be wearing underwear underneath. I also thought that maybe I'd wear them at a popular yoga class I was taking. No pockets on these. When I put them on at home, they were very comfortable right from the start. I'm not a dancer, but I do yoga, and generally work out in them. I also have varicose veins and my legs get hot, and these shorts let them breathe. Having said all that, I still have yet to wear them in public. I quit the yoga classes recently so possibly I'll never wear them in public. I guess only loved ones will see me in these then which is fine by me. The size was just right, btw. I will most likely buy the full length ones at some point as they are in my wish list right now.

Awesome product :)
I absolutely love these shorts. I am a dedicated Bikram Yoga practitioner who practices six to seven days a week. Before I bought these I was practicing solely in compression shorts. They were not the best for absorption or support. But now I use a combination of compression shorts with the KD dance shorts and have never looked back. It gives me the support and comfort I need for reaching my full potential in my practice. They are also great for absorbing sweat when I need to wipe my hands. I highly recommend these for anyone looking for light weight flexible a shorts to do any form of dance, yoga, stretch in.

great fit but quite see through while under stress as in actually doing yoga or pilates in them - would have to wear underwear underneath which defeats the purpose for me - great for activity in private though

These are very comfortable, light
I got this for gym/spin/rowing workouts. I think it will not hold up to the abrasion of rowing/spin, but... These are very comfortable, light, close-fitting shorts. They ARE definitely for dance and related movement exercise. It's a non-waistband short, and is really comfortable, and well fitted.

dance or around the house they are excellent and provide nice support
These were so stretchy that one size smaller is ok to order; I regularly wear a medium and ordered a small (the medium I received had a big run out of the package, and the vendor replaced it immediately at no extra cost, and very quickly). Do not use as the sole garment to a spinning class, as they are knit and somewhat fragile. However for exercise under shorts, yoga, dance or around the house they are excellent and provide nice support.

low-waisted butt huggers
Most shorts fit too high-waisted on me, but these are too low to wear in public. The center seam in the back really accentuates the shape of my butt and exposes the top of my crack, too sexy for yoga class. I have a smallish butt and I wish I had bought a size up. The acrylic knit fabric feels like a thin stretchy sweater, and it attracts hair and lint. I'll keep them for lounging around at home.
