Beware of Shade 322 (Glitter Red/Burgundy)
I started doing my own gel manis at home probably a year ago. I don’t have training or experience beyond reading and watching YouTube videos. Until recently, that’s never been a problem.I have also used this brand before. I have a cotton candy colors set from them and the pinks in it are my default. My experience with that set was specifically why I bought this set from them when I wanted Galaxy colors.I tend to stay with the same brands once I find one that works for me because I have allergies to everything. When it comes to cosmetics, anything scented gives me hives and sometimes dyes/ pigments make me break out in a rash. Most metals make me break out in a rash too. i.e. If I put coins in my pocket for more than a couple minutes, you’d literally be able to look at my leg and be able to tell me what coins were there based on the shape of the rashes.I say all this first because I had a very very bad experience with the red color included in this pack. I can’t wholly fault the brand and you may not have the same experience because I’m obviously coming from a unique place, but I think this warning needs to be out there. My first couple manis from this set involved the black and one of the rainbow glitter colors on top. It turned out awesome and each lasted 1-2 weeks. The only thing I realized after was that the black rod that came in the package was a magnet. It’s unmarked and there are no instructions. I was a little bummed I didn’t catch that and had hoped to try again later to get results like the pics, but I may have thrown out the magnet thinking it was packaging. lol Oops. Looked great regardless though - got so many compliments. Then, the red happened. I did up a mani that had the black as a base and the red over the top. My nails felt weird after but I was in a rush and left home. Within an hour or so, my fingers were throbbing. As the night wore on, the pain became excruciating. When I got home, I started looking up what it could be. Did I overfill? If so, was it better to remove it? Did I file my nails too thin? If so, I needed to leave it. Was I having an allergic reaction? If so, I needed to remove it. I decided to remove it. For the next 24 hours or so, I maxed myself out on Tylenol and ibuprofen, plus covered my hands in a numbing spray. I was literally shaking from the pain in spite of this. I could not function.About two days after, the bruises started appearing. All of my nails had severe bruising or bleeding under them. It was about three days after before I could function again and more than a week before the pain faded into the background. To me, that meant I’d probably overfilled. That I’d applied it too thick and that my nails had been pulled up from the beds during curing. I was wrong, but I only knew that because I was stupid enough to apply the red a second time… this time, I literally only used one coat. It was the basecoat and topcoat I always use and a layer of the red that was so thin I could see through it. The same thing happened again. However, I was able to remove it within about three hours of application and was more aware of the symptoms - it started as an itch - like the strongest itch ever that started at the tips of my fingers and radiated down my hands. There was pain too, but the itch was predominant in that phase. Because of this, I took a large dose of Benadryl along with pain meds when I removed the polish. There was damage/bruising and lasting pain after, but it was nowhere near what I felt the first time.I am not having issues with other polishes or gels. This is specific to shade 322. I strongly suspect something in this gel triggered my allergies and caused inflammation bad enough to start separating my nails from the nailbeds, and I know that I’m unique in my allergies and extreme reactions to products. Because of that and the fact that I’ve had good experiences with this brand, and even other colors in this set, I’m not giving it 1 star - I’m not even sure why this shade is a problem - but I do think others need to be aware. If you have allergies like I do, stay away from that red. And, if others start to mention reactions to the red as well, it may be something everyone needs to avoid.

Great gel polish for price, very durable
Update: I have had this nail polish on for several days and I've worked every day since putting it on. I work in a kitchen (polished nails are allowed but we have to wear gloves over them at all times while making food) and the polish has made it through making food, operating and cleaning the deep fryers and ovens, and even deep clean boiling out the deep fryers with harsh chemicals and my manicure still looks just as good as when i put it on, no chips or lifting at all, so in terms of durability and long lasting I think this polish is pretty great. For what I put my hands through when it comes to high temperatures and commercial cleaning chemicals, for any nail polish to last through all that is quite impressive. Upping my rating to 5 stars because it's great gel polish that is really durable but the fact that the glitters are all different kinds of glitter and therfore don't 100 percent match is still a tiny bit bothersome. They are all glittery, but the red is a slightly different kind of glitter than the rest. The blue and white were more shimmery than glitter and the red was glitter in a clear polish. I did 4 layers and they came out great. The set I got was a Christmas/holiday set with red, blue, green, gold, silver, and white which will be good for red/green Christmas nails, green/gold St Patrick's nails, and red/white/blue patriotic and Buffalo Bills nails. I got these in time for the Bills playoffs season so my nails can match all my Bills gear. 4 stars instead of 5 just because the type of glitter is different in each color which I wasn't crazy about but my manicure looks good regardless. It is easy to remove with the Al'iver gel polish brush-on remover with no damage to nails and no mess. I had been doing dip powder manicures previous to this and gel is way less messy and pretty durable. I did 4 total coats plus base and topcoat and it's pretty even coverage. Could probably get away with 3 coats but I tend to go overboard to make sure.

I love Beetles Gel Polish
You cannot go wrong with this pack. You can use these colors for saints Patrick's day or Christmas or to make a green marble effect. I really love the fact that these polishes last a long time. I am using their nail tips to do my nails. I used the medium almond and although applying them is still a challenge for me, painting them is a whole other story. The dark greens in this pack are a little sheer so you might have to more coats depending on how you want them to look. You can always apply a coat of white first to help give it that boost of color. make sure to prep your nails and apply the base first and cure them for about 90-120 seconds. These are the medium sized bottles. Not the super small ones. I recommend this pack.

Individual results may vary.
Beetles: the price is right. I started using gel nail polish about 8 months ago because my job is very tough on my nails/hands and my fingernails looked like stumps:( My nails were very thin and brittle, now they are much stronger and less prone to breakage. The product goes on with sheerness which gives you more control of depth of color. I use more then 2 coats. As the photos show the longevity can be astounding! My thumb, pinky & ring finger were done about 4 weeks ago. I do get chipping--- again my job is VERY TOUGH on my nails. I have noticed it's easy to remove if you soak your nails about 15-20 minutes, this can be done in the shower or doing dishes. Once soaked in water it peels easier from sides and edges. No need for all the chemical removers. I do use the manicure tools that I purchased separately. These are my natural nails and I would guess individual results will vary. Once I stopped soaking off in acetone my nails improved exponentially:)

Love the colors
Love the colors. Wish they would all change with magnetic instead of only 2. Bottle are small and wish they came with base and top coats.
