NUX B-3 - Wireless 6 channel Transmitter/Receiver for Microphones (2.4GHz)

My rating is based on my particular use, which is for singing at care homes where space is limited and I don't want a tangle of cables under my feet. There is little or no noise from the units and the sound quality used with both SM58 and E945 mics is excellent. Set-up is really easy and so far I've not experienced any interference problems.I only use a single unit and no in-ear monitors so can't comment on some of the other reviews.Like all 2.4G wireless adaptors, the useable distance is limited but it's enough for my purpose.

One thing I have not seen anywhere else, the on/mute switch does not do what it says. It is an on/off switch and when it is turned off and on it a) takes a second or two to re-sync and b) reverts to channel 1. So it’s useless as a mute unless you only use channel 1. If you moved to any other channel then you need people not to turn the Tx off and need a mic with a mute switchOtherwise seems to perform as other reviews

I am a solo male vocalist, I have my wireless microphone system but this needs cables and power.These are fantastic as they are battery powered and last 5 hours!It plugs in the back of my Bose S1 Pro and one in my normal corded mic away we go, I use this set up more than I ever thought I would.I love the fact that my gear is completely battery powered so singing in beer gardens is very easy, or anywhere electric present.I would highly recommend this.

I love these one end plugs into the XLR type Mic and the Receiver plugs into the PA, Guitar amp, Mixer, FX etc then you just switch on both units and your ready to Rock and Roll, I had a problem with sound cutting out but that was due to it interfering with my guitar transmitter but you can change the channels to solve this, the sound is amazing as good using a cable no loss of quality what so ever, top product. Built in batteries will last up to 5 hours so plenty to get those gigs done in and practice and sound check too. Now I can jump into the audience and get them to participate. AFTER ONLY TWO YEARS THEY BRAKE DOWN no sound what so ever, tried with 2 different amps and 2 different MIcs no joy. AVOID

Great bit of kit - paired seamlessly. Good sound quality with no noticeable loss over a wired connection to my ears. The battery seemed to last ages too.I’ve read that there’s an issue with signal drop out when even a single body gets between transmitter and receiver - I’ve not had this issue myself, but I expect that many low powered devices would have the same issue.

Having seen the positive feedback regarding the Nux b3 my singing partner and I thought this product would be perfect for us to use. We bought two and tried them individually, worked perfectly, went off to a gig, plugged both units in on different channels and disaster, first one mike sounded like a 70’s robot and then total drop out, quickly used a lead and just used one Nux, fine. If your thinking of using more than one of these units think again. p. s. my partner mailed the makers..... yeah you guessed it no reply.

Simple saloution to make microphone cordless

I bought these to use with a Rode NTG 3 shotgun mic for video work. They cut out quite a lot and unless someone hold the transmitter unit where it attaches to the shotgun mic, all sound is run through with a just -audible high pitch whine.Can't resolve it

Mein Titel sagt alles über meine Zufriedenheit aus.Die Funkreichweite im 2,4GHz-Band liegt bei über 30 m (mehr konnte ich noch nicht testen). Absolut störungsfrei und zuverlässig. Die Akkus reichen für meine Zwecke (bis 6 Stunden) mehr als aus.

Utilisé sur micro Shure Beta 58 A sans problème (attention, ne fonctionne pas avec des micros qui ont besoin d'une alimentation fantôme) ; le module micro est léger et compact, mon seul problème vient de la longueur du module récepteur un peu trop long pour que je puisse l'intégrer dans le flight case de mon denon prime 4 (j'ai acheté sur Ebay un coude XLR qui corrige le problème mais un petit câble XLR fonctionne aussi dans ce cas).Quelques grésillements parfois (très rares).j'ai un autre micro sans fil Shure avec une base énorme qu'il faut alimenter, ce système est bien plus pratique.Finition plastique (voir sur la solidité dans le temps)Contrôle facile du niveau de charge (le niveau s'affiche entre 1 et 6 à l'allumage des 2 modules avant d'afficher le canal de communication.

Ero curioso di vedere come funzionava questo aggeggio, e devo dire che ero anche disponibile ad una (piccola) perdita di qualità del suono e ad una (piccola) latenza.Ll'arrivo del prodotto è stato anche più rapido di quanto preventivato; la confezione era perfetta, l'imballo secondario era correttamente protetto da urti da materiale specifico; bellissima la scatola, bellissimi il trasmettitore e il ricevitore, leggeri quanto basta perchè il trasmettitore non disturbi in una tasca o appeso alla cintura; l'innesto nel microfono e nella presa microfonica del mixer è perfetto, non troppo duro, con il giusto click. Alla fine mi decido ad accenderli: il riconoscimento rciproco è praticamente istantaneo e subito si accende la luce blu su entrambi; alzo il volume del mixer: nessun ronzio, nessun rumore strano; provo il microfono (anzi, i microfoni: uno Shure Wh 20, uno Shure Beta 58A e un Electrovoice): nessuna perdita di qualità o di volume! Li provo più volte con il cavo e con i Nux B-3 e non riesco a percepire la differenza! Idem per la latenza, nulla di percepibile dall'orecchio umano. Per risparmiare carica della batteria (interna ricaricabile non sostituibile, durata cinque ore di uso continuo) dopo alcuni minuti durante i quali il sistema non riceve nessun segnale passa automaticamente in stand-by, riaccendendosi (anche in questo caso istantaneamente) al primo nuovo segnale ricevuto.E parliamo del sistema di trasmissione a 2,4 GHz: nei forum di musicisti ho letto cose terrorizzanti: i 2,4 GHZ sono la banda utilizzata da router, wi-fi di cellulari PC e tablet e millanta altre apparecchiature elettroniche, il NUX causerà e riceverà un sacco di interferenze... Sul libretto di istruzioni stesso raccomandano l'uso di una piccola app per il cellulare (gratuita, molto simpatica) che consente di rilevare apparecchiature che lavorano a 2,4 GHz e suggeriscono di porre l'apparecchiatura ad almeno tre metri da router per la IPOTETICA possibilità di interferenze ; beh, in genere non si suona attaccati ad un router: io ho posto il mixer con il ricevitore NUX sulla stessa scrivania dove è posto il mio router, a meno di 30 cm. di distanza; la app mi segnalava un picco mostruoso generato dal mio router sulla banda da 2,4 GHz: il sistema ha funzionato perfettamente senza nessun problema e nessuna iinterferenza, nè generata sulla mia wii-fi di casa nè ricevuta sul mio audio, e ripeto, a meno di 30 cm. di distanza dal router.Non trovo nessun difetto nel prodotto, anzi, non esito a definirlo il rpodotto musicale più stupefacente e soddisfacente che abbia mai acquistato. Consigliatissimo!

Funciona a la perfección. Compraré más en cuanto lo necesite.Con el cable para minijack no puedes conectarlo al movil ya que es estereo y en el movil necesites mini jack triple.
