Best all around swim suit
My favorite swimsuit out there! Very high quality material and design. Great fit for a short chubby middle aged lady who wanted a comfortable swimsuit with crisscross back straps that also covered all the essentials. I use it three times a week and the suit will last close to a year. I wash it after every swim and hang to dry.

Advertised chlorine resistant. Itâs fading.
I really like this bathing suit. Fits very nicely. My problem is I ordered this and it was delivered on February 11. Today ie April 18. A little over 2 months. It still fits nicely, but it is fading. I do water aerobics three times a week. Have not wore it outdoors. It is advertised chlorine resistant. But why is it fading? It should not in that short length of time.

Lacks Bust Support for Swimming Laps
Love the fit through the torso but not the bust support. Lacks bust support when swimming laps.

Very short lifespan
I wish I had photos and smelling-o-vision. I was at first delighted at the fit and cover of this suit. I had purchased two black ones, and the style was comfortable for exercise with a higher neck so I didnât feel like my chest would fall out. They were purchased for swimming in an indoor pool and doing aqua aerobics. The suit felt absolutely great, and I was particularly thrilled because buying plus size suits that you canât try on is typically challenging.I hand washed, rinsed and air dried the suit after each use at the indoor pool.Unfortunately, the suit began to degrade after only being used for about 2 to 3 months, 3-4x a week. White fiber breakage began to appear at the chest and down the length of the body of the suit. Like it had been stretched out.I had some traveling to do and put it awayWhen I returned, I pulled the suit out of my bag to put on, and it was twice the size that it had been the last time I had used it! It had further degraded in my absence! It felt tacky to the touch as stank of oily residue, like when you find an old bottle of kitchen oil .I had my back up suit, and began using that. The same exact thing happened the second time, so it wasnât just a fluke. These suits were not cheap. This is a good brand, or so I thought, so I thought I was buying some thing that would last me more than one season.I am very disappointed. At this point, Iâm done buying from the brand. Donât expect longevity from these suits. I suppose if youâre just using them once in a while, they might work for you.

Excellent suit, works well to cover lower belly.
I purchased this suit in January to join my lifeguard son at his âMamaw and Papaw classâ where mature adults have open swim at the local high school pool. Itâs perfect and as an avid (although not great) swimmer/hot tuber, this suit has stood up well the last 6 months. I like the way the legs are cut longer. I have an apron belly after 2 c-sections. I struggle to find bottoms that cover my belly and still cover the inside of my leg. There is usually not enough fabric. Because of the boy leg cut of this suit, it perfectly covers all of that but still appears to be a regular suit. Perfect for plus size ladies. Lays modestly around the bottom and bust, perfect to be around my elders to swim. May I advise that you measure yourself and do not size down. I saw other reviews that talked about âwhite threadsâ coming out over time. As someone who has sewn Lycra and 4 way stretch garments, those âthreadsâ are the elastic within the fabric that busted because you bought the suit too small. The suit has held well in chlorine and bromine. I do make sure to rinse it out after each use. Iâve used it at the very minimum of 3 times a week the last 6 months Iâve had no color loss, dry rotting or elastic busting. Bless you Speedo, this oneâs a keeper. 5/5 would recommend with proper sizing and care this is a fantastic plus size suit.

I am disappointed with the top
Being older and still loosing weight, I knew there might be a problem. I had read reviews before ordering and being many said it was larger on top than they were used to, I thought that would be a good thing, being I am a 38 or 40 E bra. Well I got an 18, it was tight and a challenge to get on, but the bottom fits okay. The top is too loose, at the arm openings, and I don't like where they have it stitched, for support. The straps are way to long, for me so there isn't much support as far as the suit having enough support to pull in like most suits do. The front of the arm hole doesn't come up close to the arm pit at all. If I keep the suit I'm going to need to stitch it myself to close the gap. If I return it I can't go larger as the top would be way to big. I don't think the looseness is due to the back, it's because the suit isn't designed to have the straps stitched high enough on the back to support the breast. If you have heavy or dense tissue breast, I wouldn't get this suit. Though I read some saying they were satisfied with the top, so it's all about the differences in our bodies. I used to get the ultra back years ago at a swim shop in Marin County CA. I always got a 18/20 when I weighed 250 and they worked great for me. They are a longer suit and maybe that's why I could wear that size because I took it up more in the "surrounding" rather than length. but the top was higher in front and felt so much more supportive. I weigh 30 lbs less now and thought the 18 would fit, but it's not the same design as the other one was they don't have any longer and I'm disappointed with the top. I need a suit, and am still losing weight, I do water aerobics and swim 3x a week, so I probably will keep it and wear a tank over it. I will be stitching it though. I could go smaller but I know I'd have a very difficult time with the waist going over my hips. Can't go larger and the legs holes would be too big and so would the top. I won't purchase this suit again. Oh, and there was no sales slip in the box... nothing except the suit. I always get a sales slip in the box when I order something online, but there was nothing to show I purchased it.
