Silky and smoothing
This is by far one of the most silky moisturizers I have ever used. My skin is super dry and it really absorbs well and gives me all day hydration. So many moisturizers just sit on the top of your skin and don't sink in. This one is quite different! My skin feels so smooth. I'm using it day and night and am really happy to have finally found a moisturizer that truly moisturizes all day!

Strong Scent, Made me Breakout Immediately
This is a heavy moisturizer with a strong rose scent—not something I associate with Hawaii. Question some of the ingredients as this is definitely NOT noncomedogenic. At 46, I rarely get breakouts, but after just one use woke up with two pimples. Not great.

Moisturizer
This O’o Hawaii Soar Age Delay Moisturizer + Finishing Polish – 1.7oz | Ultra Hydrating, Anti-Aging Face Cream | Reduces Fine Lines & Wrinkles | With Squalane, Sodium Hyaluronate + Rose Quartz Crystals comes in a sealed jar. There is a strong floral scent, which I personally don't like. The scent also takes awhile to fade. This is an aloe vera-based cream that contains many of the usual suspects for hydration. In addition to squalane and sodium hyaluronate, there is shea butter and mango seed butter. Unfortunately, there's also coconut oil, which is highly comedogenic. After using this moisturizer for a week, I have a bad breakout on my chin. This is a heavier cream that lingers on my skin before absorbing. I think it would be best for dry weather.Personally, I don't like this moisturizer. I don't like the scent or the fact that it broke me out. Given the price, I think the comedogenic ingredients are especially egregious.

Mixed feelings
I have some mixed feelings on this moisturizer. It’s not by any means a bad moisturizer. It has good ingredients. But, I can see how it would cause millia, white heads and/or closed comedones. This moisturizer does have a good amount of oils and waxes in it. So it’s meant to be intensely hydrating but I can easily see how for some people that might cause millia or white heads. The biggest things to consider going into this product is how your skin type responds to ingredient like this especially when paired together. For me, the first thing I noticed, second to the ingredients, is the scent. It has a unique scent to it that takes a while to fade. Its like a floral fruit coconut mix scent. I can’t even decide if I like it or not. It’s just unique. On application this is definitely a heavy cream product. It take a little bit for this to actually absorb into my skin and when it does it does leave a greasy dewy look to it. It took me a few minutes alone just to fully rub the product in and then another several minutes to feel like the product is absorbing. And then beyond that it still feels like it still a little heavy on my skin. I didn’t have any reactions to this product but in the week I’ve had it I have also only used it twice. This is not a product I will use everyday because I feel like these ingredients are a lot to pile on my skin daily. I can tolerate oils VERY well and usually never have an issue with them but waxes are some what new to me. This product contains triglycerides, sunflower seed wax, flower wax, shea butter, coconut oil, sodium hyaluronate, mango seed butter, kukui seed oil, another mango butter, cocoa butter, babassu oil, Tammany oil, açaí oil, sunflower seed oil, olive oil, and jasmine oil.So thats a lot of butter and oils to be lathering on my face daily. I have experienced millia in the past and I strive to avoid it so that given I am taking it VERY slow with this product and will probably NEVER use it more thats twice a week. This is meant to be intensely hydrating and I believe it is intensely hydrating but I also believe its a lot to layer on my skin daily. So far I do like the plump and supple look I see in my skin the next morning after use but I also don’t want to smother my skin and cause other issues like white heads, millia or closed comedones. This is also a moisturizer I would only use at night because I live in a hot dry area and I wouldn’t want to layer this on my skin and then smother my skin so that it can’t properly breath and regulate itself. The biggest thing I would consider prior to purchase of this product would be knowing you skin and how it reacts to ingredients like this.

love the rich moisturizer but disliked the jasmine rose scent
This moisturizer is quite rich, very moisturizing. A little goes a long way with this stuff so don't slather on too thick of a layer. I only used a tiny bit and spread it out as much as I could, and it felt great on my skin. It is always best to use a tiny bit first and add more as needed. It doesn't feel sticky or tacky and does get absorbed by my skin pretty quickly. It feels comfortable, doesn't make my face feel heavy or irritating.I would say my only complaint about this product is the scent. I think the scent is just a mix of the ingredients, or at least it isn't a synthetic fragrance. I did not like the scent and felt it was a bit overwhelming. I think the scent is supposed to be jasmine and red rose, but it smells a bit like a cleaning product to me. It doesn't smell as strong once you slather it on your face but when you smell it out of the jar it is a bit jarring.Having used O'o Hawaii's products before I know they use a lot of Hawaiian ingredients in their products and it tends to be more natural, exotic, and floral. My favorite product from the line is their birdseed facial scrub. I think I would have liked this product a little more if it weren't for the scent, which I did not find relaxing or pleasant. Fragrance is subjective so I would still recommend giving it a try, you could find it wonderfully fragrant.
