I have been searching for a floor cleaner and received a recommendation from a flooring company for Bona Cleaner, Pro Hardwood Concentrate (128 fl oz). This product is a concentrate that requires a mix ratio of 7 to 1, making it a great value for the price. It is suitable for use on floors finished with either oil-based or water-based polyurethane. When I purchased it, I found that Amazon offered the best price.I applied the cleaner using a floor spray mop, and it went on smoothly and dried quickly. The real test will be how long it lasts before my two German Shepherds dirty the floor again.

When we had our hardwood floors installed 32 years ago, the installer told us to never use anything other than Bona on the floor in order to keep it looking good. I am grateful for his suggestion because our floors still look great.It's easy to use...I have a 32 oz. spray bottle that I have marked with the amount of Bona and the amount of water to add. After mixing it up, I spray the Bona on the floor and use a flat mop to wipe the floor. If it's a small area, I just spray and wipe with a rag.

This is the concentrate. A small amount makes a whole gallon of floor cleaner. Highly recommend using the old gallon of non-concentrate and marking fill-to with a marker filling with water. Saves a lot of money. My experience is also that it cleans just as well.
