Inabaya Painted Painted Bunny Girl Statue Ridia 1/8 by Yamato

I just received this figure and couldn't be more satisfied. I've never purchased this sort of figure before and wasn't sure what to expect. This is a very attractive figure measuring 8'' from her toes to the top of her head (less the ears). Aside from one foot not fitting properly into its peg on the base (which is not overly important), the figure is nicely detailed and beautifully painted and is well worth the purchase price.

I got this anime statue at a real good price.it actually comes with fabric stockings,which adds to the beauty of the statue. it comes with two sets of bunny ears,and what looks to be playing cards.Which are kind of tough to put on her. but she looks really cool displayed.

Amazing, adorable, cute, and well made. I really enjoy it and have never regretted the purchase. Who could hate a bunny girl this cute?

When Yamato announced the Creators Labo lineup, we were initially skeptical because we didn't quite see the need for such a product line. But after seeing this release, we changed our minds because the Creators Labo series serve as a platform for sculptors, character designers, and other creative minds to come together and put out a fantasy type of figure. No adherence is required to any particular element (color, pose, costume, etc.) unless the figure comes from an existing anime series. And Inabaya's bunny girl release exemplifies the spirit of the Creators Labo product line.Apparently drawing inspiration from Playboy Bunnies, Inabaya Bunny Girl Ridia Creators Labo PVC Figure from Yamato is a playful creation with some very nifty features. Standing 8 1/4 inches tall (including stand), the sculptor Inabaya shows a sultry looking bunny girl in an extremely skin tight bunny girl outfit, with the requisite bunny ears, hand cuffs, a puffy bunny tail, fishnet stockings, and pumps. This release comes with an alternate set of ears and a calling card. The stand has a mirror sticker on top, and attaches to a two piece figure holder. The holder holds Ridia in place at her waist.The most distinguished feature in this product is the real-life fishnet stocking. At first, it is shocking to see this. Inabaya could have easily tried to "paint" the stockings on the bunny girl's legs by using another color. Instead Yamato uses real fishnet (not removable) for this release, and should be commended for doing so. The cool thing about having fishnet stocking on Ridia is that you could glide a finger over the fishnet, and feel the net scrap against your skin. It should be noted that the sculptor chose to use long, slim legs for this figure, and it definitely enhances the effect of the fishnet stocking.The color scheme that Inabaya chose for this release is interesting. Glossy black is used for the waitress outfit, and high-heeled shoes. Dark grey is the choice for the cuffs and "scarf". The bunny ears have the glossy black on the top side, and dark grey on the bottom. It's a good color scheme for the costume. However, dark purple is used for Ridia's hair, and frankly we're skeptical of this choice since it clashes with the color scheme of the costume. In our opinion, the hair color should have been at least a lighter shade of purple, and preferably another color altogether.Another disagreement involves the girl's body shape, the chest area. Inabaya chose to give Ridia oversized breasts, to create a burst out effect for her costume. We feel that while sex is an obvious appeal in this release, the chest looks rather grotesque and out of place on this slim, skinny girl's body.Two more notes regarding our figure sample. First, the right peg isn't lined up correctly with Ridia's right foot, and the foot keeps popping out of the peg. But the plastic holder keeps the figure stable and balanced. Second, while the calling card is a nifty idea, we haven't been able to insert the card into Ridia's right hand, because her left arm and cuff are in the way.Inabaya Bunny Girl Ridia Creators Labo PVC Figure is an innovative and playful release. Although the general consumer may overlook this product since it's not from any particular anime show, the serious anime figure collector should definitely have this figure in his collection.
