Bem HL2022C, Bluetooth Mobile Speaker for Smartphones, iPhone, iPad with Touch-Sensitive Buttons - Red

I was at a party a few days ago and the host had one of these. I couldn't believe the level of sound coming out of such a tiny speaker. He said he had gotten it on sale for $40.The next day I went on Amazon and found an ugly orange one for just $14.99. Less than half of what he had gotten on sale? Heck, yeah!I bought it, then saw this gorgeous red one (which totally goes with my kitchen decor) for just a couple of dollars more and bought it too. They arrived today, on SUNDAY (gotta love being a Prime member) and I got my eldest involved in opening up the packaging and getting them set up.Set up was a easy as pie - plug them in to charge, turn on the power and look for the icon to pop up on your smartphone under Bluetooth settings, then click on it to activate.My eldest has Spotify premium, so she turned on a playlist and we got this baby started. It is amazing the amount of sound that comes out of this itty bitty box!Unfortunately, you can only choose one speaker at a time, which made me a bit sad. It would have been fabulous to have them both playing at the same time. That said, this is an amazing piece of technology for a screaming good price.This red one is currently in my kitchen. Love, love, love these!

I bought this compact speaker as a Christmas gift for my brother. He enjoyed it so much I ended up buying one for myself 4 months later. A week after receiving mine, my brother notified me his speaker had stopped working—a little over a month past the 90-day warranty. I contacted Bem and they were very responsive in wanting to correct the situation. We were given an RMA number to return the speaker for a replacement. My brother received a brand new speaker in less than two weeks. It was a pleasure dealing with BEM. We both like the compact size of the speaker, it has great sound and it's very easy to use with a smartphone and MP3 player.

Worked great till it quit working even with a cord plugged in. Lasted less the 4 months. From reading the other reviews, I got lucky that it last that long. Get the Amazon basic's version of this. I love mines and a year later, still working unlike this product.Old reviewMy friend bought this at costco. I was so impressed by the little thing that I when on amazon to find one. I found a open box one for a little less then $25 total. It was easy to pair up with my macbook pro. It's surprising very loud for something so small and I'm enjoying watching Netflix on it right now. I will update this review in a few months to see how I like it down the road.

Although it is used it work very well, the volume is loud. Unfortunately the volume buttons and pause and play button do not work so i cant tell whether its at its max vloume on the cube. And i can't really tell whether the device is on or not. takes a while to connect with bluetooth but other then those things its a very good device for a decent amount of money.

This is a great wireless speaker but it is hampered by a horrible USB plug. I've had to RMA mine twice now because they usb breaks and then will not hold a charge. There's never any tension on the cord or usb input when charging and it's never left connected when it's done. It just seems like after a dozen or so charge cycles the USB header breaks and the port just pushes into the unit and that's it, no more charging.If they fixed this thing it would be 5 stars. The sound is excellent and the rubber coating is bright and easy to clean, it's just big enough to sound okay without it taking up tons of room. Sad really. I wanted to like this thing. I'd say don't purchase it unless they release a new version of it with the words "WE FIXED THE USB PORT" written on the box.

I previously bought the IHome bluetooth speaker. It was more expensive and round, so it always seemed to roll of table. It lasted 2 months. When I read the reviews on this speaker they were all positive. And to make matters better, they were $20 off, making them 49.99. That was also quite a bit less than my first purchase. I use it while I am gardening. It jams and lasts up to 10 hours. And the real selling point it came with 2 sources to charge. You wont find that very often. And I believe it can go up to 50' away from Wi-Fi source. Also, several colors available.

The form factor is perfect for throwing in a suitcase (not briefcase). However, a simple pouch to cover/protect it in the luggage would be good.Setup was simple though difficult to know if it is switched off to save battery.

I received this item as a Christmas gift 2014. It lasted 1 month. No longer will charged at all. Do not waste your money!!!
