Supplying Demand 318984-753 LA11AA005 Furnace Draft Inducer Motor Blower Wheel Replacement Kit Model Specific Not Universal

The media could not be loaded.  I was surprised to learn most local stores (Home Depot, ext.) don’t stock furnace replacement parts. The manufacturers are really trying to push you towards calling repair specialist. I was easily able to figure out what the problem was with a quick search on YouTube and learned this is one of the most frequent furnace failure points. Called to get a few estimates ranging from $800 to $1000+. Seeing how inexpensive the part was I decided to give it a try myself. For the record I am not what you would call handy or mechanically inclined. When it comes to fixing and repairing things around the house, If you figured out what’s wrong with your furnace and made it as far as finding this replacement part on Amazon there is a 99.9% chance you are better suited to replace this part then I was. It was a little tricky getting the old motor out and fan blade out (just yank it hard and it pops out within the force) I need to use a Dremel to open up the hole a little bit to fit the new fan blade in. I also tried an OEM replacement fan blade had the same issue as the one that came with this kit ( both were just a little to big to get back it to the hole. am sure it because the furnace is 15 years and had shifted a bit, or me yanking the original out wrong) it is a simple pop out the old part ,pay attention to where the screws go and the two wires, pop in the new part replace the screws and two wires and your good to go. Tools I needed screwdriver, Dremel and, a good set of Allen wrenches for attaching the fan blade onto the motor.It’s been installed and running perfectly for a few months now.PS. Four stars verses five and easy to install has nothing to do with the product itself just the fact that it’s not the easiest Repair in the world to make.

The product worked great and was easy to install. Note: you should probably get yourself some high temperature sealant to put on the chassis so that it makes a good seal against the furnace body. This will keep carbon dioxide from seeping back into the home. Be sure to adjust the fan so that it will not touch any surface. There is very little clearance for this when you install it.

Ease of getting the parts

Worked great, got to love Amazon! Heat goes out, can't get it started again, get a $400 quote to fix the furnace, goes on amazon and finds the motor and kit for $70! Delivered by 8am and fixed by 9am! The only thing was this motor needed different self threading screws, not the same from the original one. Solved by a trip to the hardware store.

Received damaged black fan blades, both of two types. Fan blade fins broke off due to lack of shipping bubble packing. Able to reuse old fan blades.

Original inducer fan motor was making noise installed this one and it is extremely quiet and running smoothly blower wheel was the perfect size and depth only recommend buying the gasket at the same time in a little bit of sealant.

Item was clearly used and poorly repackaged. The small plastic cooling fan was cracked, and both of the mounting screw threads were stripped out. Mark on the shaft from the inducer fan wheel set screw that someone had tried mounting a few times.Had I not been in a pinch to get my furnace running in the middle of winter, I would have sent this back immediately. Fortunately I was able to do some repairs to this "new" motor to get it installed and functioning. Operation seems fine for now thankfully. Would not recommend this seller.

Fue fácil la instalacion solo con unos cuantos ajustes que tuve que hacer pero trabaja muy bien, la rueda del motor fue ligeramente grande así que la tuve que ajusta cortando un poco el perímetro de la rueda pero trabaja muy bien

Fitted perfectly, no issues at all. Old one was a little hard coming out, but cleaned up all the pieces and the new one fitted right back in.So far so good. Will see how in performs.

Part is slightly bigger than OEM version. It's rubs inside the furnace. Paid to have it installed by a pro. Bought the OEM and fit perfectly. I can't even return the part. Paid for the labour and new part. This part was a few hundred dollar mistake between part and labour's.

The combustion motor on my home furnace has been noisy for 3-4 years now. This kit fixed her right up. Incredible how much quieter it is, and I believe, a bit better combustion due to more airflow from a perfectly balance motor actually spinning at design speed. Really happy with this 😊

Be carefull , parts do not match. I bought these as spare in 2021.When I need these parts in Dec 2002, they did not fit.
