The curtains are a very nice weight. They provide the perfect amount of privacy and light blocking. The packing wrinkles steamed out nicely.

I was looking for some black out curtains that had grommets, were black in color, and had some sort of texture to them. I also prefer the curtains that are the same color on both sides, not the white lined back. I found these and was excited, but skeptical to buy because of the mixed reviews. I decided to give them a try. I LOVE them! They look really nice and even though they don’t really look like it in the picture, they do black out the room. My husband works nights and comes home and sleeps during the day, so he needs the room to be dark to sleep. If they didn’t make the room dark enough, we wouldn’t be keeping them, but they really do! I’m thinking about buying some more in different colors for other rooms!

I purchased four panels in this style and four panels in another style. I need both room darkening and thermal insulation properties. These are for a drafty college rental with a large single pane picture window. I specifically like grommet curtains because it is simple to hang curtains one on top of the other on a single rod. I prefer the other four panels, so these will be hung behind the others. I will put plastic over the window as well. When I have needed to layer two drapes previously, the grommets lined up perfectly to hang as one unit. These are still in their packages.Frankly, I like the lining better than the drapes. The smoke color is lighter than pictured and dull. For my use, the drape will not be seen. These will be perfect.I would not buy these again as a primary drape in the smoke color. Maybe in another color.

These help so much. As someone pointed out, they aren't truly black out, but they changed my room. I live in an apartment and as such have lots of lot lighting. Those lights penetrate the cheap blinds with ease, and make it down right easy to see in my room at night. With these, at night, it's pitch black. I get more light from other rooms than my window. Now that being said, during the day, it's like it was at night before I had them, dark, but not black out. They do help me nap though. I'd spend the extra if you were a night shifter trying to sleep in the day. These are the "middle grade" curtains, and this company seems to be high quality. I'd trust the high end ones to black out any room.On a side note, these resemble Carbon Fiber, due to the weave. If you were trying with a theme for a mechanic? Just saying.

The fabric is decent, it feels a little cheap to the touch but looks nice from far away. They block a good portion of the sun but a single layer with no backing does allow some light to get in. I won’t return them but they’re just ok.

This really darkens the room! As soon as I opened the package I was a bit skeptic as the material is very lightweight and thin for what I thought a blackout curtain should be. However, when I put them up I was pleasantly surprised! Only complaint would be that you see some twinkles of light coming through the curtains but it doesn’t really add light to the room at all.

Made a mistake ordering this single panel curtain. I'm glad I had a window for it so It has been worth every penny. Blocks wind, stays dark, keeps warm.

I’m returning them. I got these to pair with sheers with bronze grommets (to match the rod). It wasn’t mentioned in the description and the images showed a dark bronze or even black grommets. I’m bummed because I really liked the woven texture and the charcoal color is delightfully dark.

Some tiny dots of light show through some spots in the stitch (like size of sand) but 99% total blackout. Will buy 2 more sets eventually for my other rooms.

The product looks pretty much like it does in the picture. You may have to iron out the wrinkles or else it does look shabby and cheap (I don't know why but it made a huge difference after ironing out the wrinkles).

Panels block most of the light and would have been perfect for my needs if they were a few inches longer.

Excellent drapes, look good and excellent quality.

Not great, one side is the woven side shown In The pictures, the other side isn't dyed so it can only face one way. Looks like garbage from the back side. I bought this based on another customers review of the original curtains I bought saying that eclipse was the best and how he regretted buying the other one. I paid double for these than I did with the 'cheap' ones, but the cheap ones were definitely better
