Received Wide Calf
I received these boots in the mail a few days ago. Like some of the other reviewers, I too received an 8.5 WC boot in the brown when I ordered 8.5 M which I assumed meant regular. I am not completely diappointed because I have slightly wider calves than average and they fit me well. I'm not sure what the confusion with sizing is about and hopefully it is resolved soon. I still rate them 4 stars because of style and comfort.

Great boot
Exactly what I was looking for in a boot. I am able to wear them with jeans without the boot being too tight or too loose. There is cushion in the heels which makes it comfortable.

Wide Calf
Beautiful boots but I didn’t order a WIDE CALF & nothing in the description stated WIDE CALF!!! So now I have to return & hope they send me the correct item. UPDATE: PLEASE DO NOT ORDER THIS BOOT BECAUSE IF YOU HAVE SMALL CALVES YOU WILL RECEIVE A WIDE CALF BOOT!!! My replacement boot came the same way after I was assured it would be the boot in a regular calf boot.

This Genuine Leather, Pebble Texture, HighQuality Boot is Rare Today
I saw this exact brand and style boot processed in person at my high end retail workplace and it caught my attention because it is such high quality genuine leather and I loved the pebble texture. On my break at work I went to amazon where I searched for and found the Franco Sarto Christoff boots. I ordered the Hickory that is a very nice shade of brown, and the black. Both pair are beautiful in person, even nicer looking than the photo. I am very hopeful that they will last for years to come and I look forward to polishing them and sustaining the quality leather that is so rare today. I ordered the wide calf that is approximately 16 1/2" because comfort is most important to me. Actually the wider option is more sensible for me because my right calf is slightly wider than the left due to standing on concrete floors for 12 hours a day in my workplace, some swelling is a side effect. These boots will not be work shoes, only worn casually, but comfortable feet in boots matter to me all the time.

Very pleased!
I am tall & have slim feet & legs and knew that I would be taking a chance on these! I am also very fussy & like that they are leather. I was very pleased when they fit perfectly! I wore them for 9 hours on the first day and have been wearing them everyday since.

Wide Calf Boots! Not stated in description.
I ordered these boots as a gift for Christmas and they came in "wide calf". They are extremely large calves and the boots fall right down. I ordered a replacement boot and they shipped the same exact boots!!!!!!! I now have to return two pairs of the same boots after the product description does not state "wide calf" or anything like. I requested a regular calf boot or do not ship them again and yet they still shipped the same exact boots! This is so frustrating! DO NOT ORDER!!!!!

Not leather as described
This boot fit true to size however, the boot is not leather as the description says and the shaft of the boot is not sturdy .. which gives the shaft a scrunch-like look. I am a bit disappointed because previous footwear by FrancoSarto has always met my approval.

Omg !! So Soft..love these boots..put them on right out of box, wore for hours..SO COMFY !!LIKE the buckle adjustment at top..took.in one notch...GREAT LOOK...MANY COMPLIMENTS!!

Estoy enamorado de estas botas son muy elegantes, lindisimas y cómodas. Confortables al pie cuando pisas, son de piel original son encantadoras las ame solo un detalle, son demasiadas anchas en los chamorros. Soy de piernas largas y piernuda, tengo dificultad con las botas a la hora de cerrarlas, pero en estas me falta mucha pierna, estás demasiado anchas de la parte de arriba, me sobra una pulgada de la parte de adelante y otro de la parte de atrás. Estas son para las mujeres más chamorrudas.
